Plot:
Okay so this story/plot was inspired by The Notebook. It's about a girl named Alizah (or whatever you want the oc's name to be) who is forbidden to be with the boy she loves so her parents make her move out of the country with them and say it's for the bettering of her career/future. Before she leaves, she gives him a mailing address to contact her at without the knowledge of her parents. While they're apart, he sends her a letter every single day. Unlike The Notebook, she is aware of them because she made a deal with the house keeper.
In the letters he tells her about his life and how everything is going with him. Although she isn't able to reply back to the letters, she keeps them all and take count of his life. At about half a year, he tells her in the letters that he loves her so much, but if she's getting the letters, he can't keep waiting on her and he tells her that he's falling for another girl and throughout the rest of the letters, he tells her about his adventures with this new girl and although she's really hurt, she can't help be happy for him.
A few weeks after she graduates college, she takes a trip back to the states and tracks him down and they spend the day together as if they'd never even been apart. Alizah sees how happy he is with this new girl, so she decides to let him be, and she leaves without telling him, expecting him to continue with the letters when he realizes she's gone. He doesn't. Only a few weeks after Alizah leaves the states, his fiancée is involved in a deadly car crash that kills her immediately. Though Alizah is unaware of her death until three years later when she finally receives a letter from him explaining everything and his lack of communication.
It's up to you tho lol. My thought for the story was to have it written from primarily the males perspective in letter format, but it's strictly up to you. If you want the idea, it's yours. Just let me know 😝
