So this story is a reach. honestly it came to me in a daydream. It's about a girl who is somewhat new to town and is looking for a boyfriend. Her and this guy she's been talking to online for a while (they realllyyyyy hit it off) decides to finally meet up in public. So on this date, that walk through the park and talk. Everything's goes perfect. The guys asks her if she could use a coffee and they both agree to go to a coffee shop. While in line, the two discuss their favorite flavors and what time. Until ordering, the guy tells her that he doesn't pay for anything on the first date with a girl. She is completely shocked st this point. Not because of the fact that he made the statement (She has all the intentions of paying for her own anyways) but because of the way he said it jokingly.
And the type of girl she is, she laughs it off and pulls out her wallet to pay for her drink.
The barista over hears the conversation and once she gets to the front of the line, he drops the most romantic/shoot your shot type of comment, (example: "wow. All I can say is wow and the coffee is on me today" heart eyes) and gives her coffee for free.
And then yeah lol. Told you it was a reach
