We're Late

I was shaken awake by Cole. My first instinct was to grunt, turn away, and keep sleeping because needless to say I didnt get much sleep last night.
But then I heard him say, "Lili look." it sounded like there was a hint of desperation in his voice so i slowly opened my eyes to the blinding sun and there, all around the jeep, was tons of people eother taking pictures of us and the jeep or recording a video.
I shot up in my seat, holding my blanket around me.

"Why are they all here? How did they figure out we were here?"

"Probably when we took a picture for our Instagram story."

I rubbed my temples and tried to think of what to do. We had to get dressed but how are we going to do that with all of these people around?
Suddenly I had an idea that I hoped would work.
I rolled down the jeep window and before I leaned out Cole grabbed my shoulder.
"What are you doing?"

I smiled, "Just watch."
I leaned out the window anf yelled, "Hey! If you guys don't mind we would like to get fucking dressed without nude pictures of us getting leaked! So can you please go away!" I fell back in the car and rolled the window back up.
"I hope this works." i say to Cole.
"Yeah me to." he seemed kind of on edge.

"Hey what's the matter? We're gonna be able to get dressed eventually."

"I know. I just don't know. Maybe we shouldn't have gone public if this many people are going to be following us around."

"Really? Your the one that's been wanting to go public since the first week we started dating!"

"I know, but look at all of those people."
I looked out at all of them, noticing that they were starting to disperse.
"Well it's a little late for that because now everyone knows. There's nothing we can do."

He gave me a mischievous look. "What?" i ask.

"There is a way that we could get all of these people off our backs."

"How?"

"We could post a story that we sadly have broken up because all of these people were stressing us out. So we started fighting a lot a decided to break up."

"What? No way! I'm not going to make all of our lovely supporters feel like they are the reason we broke up."
By now all of the people had gone away and we could finally get dressed.
I hopped in the backseat to grab my clothes and put them on. I had my pink t-shirt, Cole's black leather jacket that I wear, and black yoga pants. Don't tell anyone, but I don't do yoga. I pretty much try to excercise the least I can and rely on my fast metabolism. But when that fails me I will probably just become a big fat blob because I really love food. Especially Taco Bell.
I pull my hair back into a pony tail and crawl back into the passenger seat.
Cole has his clothes on too. I think I had cooled off from being mad earlier and kind of felt bad for yelling at him.
"So was that our first fight?" i ask him.
"I think you had a fight. But I didnt."

"I'm sorry. I shouldnt have yelled at you like that but it's just that we can't be that cruel to people who support us. That would be like a slap in the face to them. And I mean fuck, we can handle all thise crazy people."
He smiles at me and I'm relieved. I look at my phone.
"Oh shit! We were supposed to be on set for Riverdale over an hour ago!"

"Shit." Cole says and starts driving.
Soon we reach the set and there are definitely people that are not happy with us.
We jump out of the car and are greeted by KJ, Cami, and the director.
Kj looks worried, Cami is smiling at me, and the director looks very unhappy.
"Where have you two been?" the director asks. "We are an hour and a half behind schedule because of this!"

"Come down." Cami says. "Whatever they were doing, I'm sure it was very important."

"Yes it was and I am very sorry." i say.

"And it wasn't her fault. She was helping me with a photoshoot. She is an aspiring photographer, as you know." Cole says.

"Well alright but we need to get to work now."
So we start walking to go get our hair and makeup done for the scene. Cami starts walking beside me.
"Hey girl."
"Hey." i smile at her.

"So you were helping him with a photoshoot huh?" she asks.

"Yep."

She gently shoves my shoulder. "Yah right. I saw that you and Cole finally went public about your relationship. Don't tell me you were out in the middle of nowhere helping him take pictures."

"Well I was helping him with a photoshoot per say. He was doing a photoshoot of me."

She lets out an excited shriek and shoves my shoulder again, "Girl! That is hot." she says. "Sprousehart is real people, sprousehart is confirmed!"

I laugh, "Yah it is really great, but there's probably gonna be a lot of fucking people following us around."

"Are you gonna drop kickem or something. I know you could."

"No we can handle them, but it's just gonna be annoying."

"Hey you are one of the strongest people I know, Lili. I think you can handle a bunch of idiots that just want to see some of your guys' cute moments."

"Thanks Cami." I smile at her.

"So how long have you guys been dating now?" she asks.

"Almost 8 months." I'm even awed by the number. These past 8 months have been the best. Because of Cole and being on Riverdale. They definitely helped me out of a very deep depression and right now I am close to the happiest I have ever been, with my very supporting and goofy friends and official boyfriend.

Cami interrupts me from my thoughts, "So so you want to get a little breakfast while your getting your hair done?" she asks.

I was tired as fuck. I mean it was only 6:30 in the morning and food sounded fantastic.
I look at her with a grin and in unison we say, "Fruity Pebbles."
We both burst into giggles.
"You know me too well Cami."

"I'll go get the cereal." she says while laughing and started skipping the other way.

As I'm walking I see Cole. He waves at me and yells, "I love you Lili!" i laugh and feel love fill my heart.

"I love you too baby!"

I could not wait to eat my Fruity Pebbles.
