Lili's Birthday

I am so excited for Lili's birthday. I have so many things planned for her.
First we are going to go to a Lana Del Ray concert, then we are going to go stay at a little hotel way out of Vancouver and we'll stay there over night. Then in the morning I will take her to this middle of no where place. She won't know what we are doing but then the hot air balloon will show up. We will go on the balloon for about 1 or 2 hours. Probably take a few pictures up there and then have a very suave little picnic on the ground.

Right now I'm up making her breakfast in bed. Ok fine. I'm honestly not a very good cook, but I do know that Lili likes fruity pebbles, orange juice, and fruit so that's what her breakfast is. Not really any cooking involved, except I did make the orange juice with some fresh oranges that I picked up yesterday.

I neatly place the glass of  juice, bowl of cereal, and bowl of fruit on a tray and carry it into the bedroom.

"Lili." I whisper. She doesn't budge. I nudge her arm a little and she starts to stretch. She turns towards me and I see her eyes open just a smidge and she smiles at me. I sit down beside her. "I brought you breakfast in bed."

She slowly sits up and her hair is all messed from sleeping on it. Which, I might add, is not a bad thing in my book.

"You brought me breakfast in bed? Awe Cole. Thank you so much babe."

I sit the tray on her lap and she leans over and hugs me.

"Of course I made you breakfast in bed. It's your special day."

She grins at me and starts eating.

"While your eating I have to go get a few things in order for today."

"Oooo. How mysterious." Lili says.

I wink at her and then go back into the kitchen to make a call. They answer right away.

Me: Hey man! You still gonna have the limo here in two hours?

Driver: Yes, yes of course I will.

Me: Great. Lili is going to be so happy

Driver: Why don't you two just get married already?

Me: Ummm..

Driver: What?

Me: Uh..Nothing. I'll see you in a few hours. Thanks so much bro.

Driver: Yea no problem

"So what do you have planned for me today?" Lili asks, walking up behind me.

I turn around and smile at her. "You weren't in here this whole time, were you?"

She laughs, "No, silly, I just came in here."

"Well why don't we get ready. We have two hours until you get to see one of your surprises."

"Only one of them?"

"It's kind of a three or four parter kind of thing."

"Wow. You put a lot of effort into my birthday. "

I smile and put my hands on her shoulders. "Of course I did. Your the light of my life. I'm not not going to celebrate in big."

She smiles brightly at me and I cherish it. Her smiles are so pure and beautiful. They deserve to be photographed and admired everyday.

Soon we are both ready.
Lili comes out of the bathroom and I have to do a double take. She looks absolutely stunning.

"What?" She asks.
