"Pein-sama, you want me to go searching for Orochimaru?" Hagami clarified Pein's words with a quirked eyebrow. The orange haired male in front of her nodded for perhaps the third time.

"You're weakening by the month with that illness of your's." Pein stated bluntly and Hagami refrained from glaring at him. She merely nodded in response because as bluntly as he put it, he was right. Her sickness has progressed over the two months. Hagami was only fifteen right now too and could barely finish missions that involved more than an hour of fighting. Multiple times already, Kisame has had to carry her using Samehada or under his arm if she was unconscious; if she was unconscious either way she was carried on his blade or under his arm.

"Hai." She grumbled. "And this is a solo mission?"

"By all means, if you want to bring Kisame along with you, go right ahead. You only have a month though." He warned and Hagami nodded, cutting the mental connection between the two of them.

Akatsuki bases were located all throughout the Five Great Nations and Hagami currently resided in the main one in Amegakure. Kisame would be back any hour so probably about two hours from now. Hagami would be asleep too if it weren't for Pein calling her for a private message. Hagami sighed deeply knowing that if she tried to go to sleep again, she wouldn't get very far. She'd just wait for Kisame to arrive and persuade him to accompany her on her mission.

The rain pitter-pattered against the steel building and the cool but humid air flowed between her room and the long, open window in the building. Her eyes trained fully on the rain that kept falling until she decided to move around and start getting ready for the mission. She slid off the bed lazily and walked over to the open closet. She took out a mesh armor shirt first and slid into that after putting on a black sports bra. The fabric was cool against her skin contrary to the long sleeve black shirt she wore to bed. Hagami reached for the dark blue shirt next that was in a v-neck and slid it over the mesh armor. Sliding off her pants, she traded them for another pair of pants—she didn't sleep in—that looked similar to sweatpants. She walked over to her nightstand next and took the white sash and wrapped it around her shirt and tied it right above her hip bones.

She took a deep breath when she reached for her hitai-ate. She tied it tightly around her forehead and looked in the mirror. The slashed hitai-ate symbolized that she had cut ties with her Village and she touched it lightly. A pang of sadness hit her in the heart and she averted her eyes from her reflection. No matter where her eyes were, her reflection would follow.

When Hagami looked back up into the mirror, she shook her head to clear her thoughts. When she saw her eyes, they widened slightly. She was a Rogue Nin but she still could see an inextinguishable flame for Konohagakure. Her hand touched her heart for a moment, the ache to return nearly overpowering her loyalty to Akatsuki. A knock on the door snapped her from her thoughts and she whipped around.

"Come in." She said monotonously and reached for her Akatsuki cloak. Kisame walked in, his blade already wrapped around his shoulder in its holster and a strange look in his eyes. "What is it?"

"Pein-sama already told me about your mission. He said I should tag along just in case something goes wrong." Kisame merely stated as Hagami swung the cloak around her shoulders. She zipped it up halfway and slipped on arm into the sleeve and one are rested where it was unzipped. Her tantō was concealed in its sheath underneath her cloak already.

"Fine." She replied simply and began walking toward the door. Over the time Kisame and Hagami got to know each other, they became acquainted, possible bordering a friendship. Kisame weaved out of her way and let her lead the way. Despite Orochimaru keeping an extremely low profile and an obscured hideout that's almost impossible to track down, Hagami had another knack to be able to find him due to his chakra.
