Her Outfit^

Belle's POV
The sun beamed through the blinds, more bouncy then ever. I sat up, the comforter perfectly rolling off my torso. I stretched, a smile making it's way on my lips. Something felt better today. I got off my bed, grabbed my phone and walked to the washroom.

I washed my face with cold water, then I heard my phone go off. It was a reminder, it read,

Date with Dimples at one ;)

I smiled. I washed my face with cleanser and put on a morning face mask. I quickly brushed my teeth. I checked the time and saw it was only nine. After fifteen minutes, I took the face mask off and made my way to the kitchen.

I picked up a box of cereal and a carton of milk. I poured the cereal in a bowl, then the milk. I quickly ate and went through my social media. After I finished, I started looking through my wardrobe.

After a while, I decided on a floral blouse, skinny jeans, tan ballet flats, tan cross-body bag, metallic studs, and a moon cut-out necklace. I took a quick shower and started on my makeup. I tied my hair up and put on some natural makeup. I added a light pink lipstick and I was done.

I put my hair into a simple bun and put on my outfit. It was about 11:30 when I was done. I slumped onto my couch, not knowing what to do. I then felt my phone vibrate. I took it out of my bag and saw that Ethan messaged me.

I locked my phone and slumped back onto my couch. 'Is this okay?...' I thought. Hanging out with a guy before a date was okay, right? I mean, he is a friend. Yeah. No damage there.

After a few minutes, there was a knock at my door. I jumped up, smiling. I opened the door and saw Ethan, his hair more blue than ever. I moved aside, inviting him in. He started looking around, his eyes trailing back to mine and smiled. "Nice place." I shrugged.

"Thanks, but I'd like to do a lot more with it." I said, closing and locking the door. He sat down on my sectional. "Do you want a snack or a drink?" His eyes met mine yet again. "Water will be fine, thank you." We exchanged a smile and I walked into the kitchen. As I went to turn on the tap, I saw a spider crawl out of the drain. I screamed, almost dropping the glass.

I heard Ethan running in. "What happened?! Are you okay?!" He put his arms on my forearms. For a second, I felt safe from the spider. I pointed to the sink and he peeked, screaming as he saw it. "HOLY FUCK!" He started to cling on to me, I giggled at his action. I went towards the spider, trapping it in the glass. I sighed a sigh of relief. "I-Is it dead?" Ethan looked above my shoulder, I giggled. "Yeah, it's trapped in the glass." I pointed to it and he stepped up.

He cleared his throat, trying to flex muscles. "Yeah, I wasn't even scared." He said in a mockingly deep voice. We both started dying of laughter. After a while, we composed ourselves and I finally got Ethan that glass of water.

"So," he turned to me, "where are you from?" I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. "I'm actually from just outside Portland." He furrowed his brows. "Maine or Oregon?"

"Maine." I saw his eyes light up. "Me too! Wait, now that I think about it you look so familiar!" It was my turn to furrow brows. "I'm one of the Nestor's!" Suddenly, pictures flashed in my head of a young boy and I playing on his front yard. My mouth gaped open.

"And I'm one of the Martin's!" We both sat there, more surprised than ever. "We were neighbours in Maine!" He exclaimed, I chuckled. Suddenly, he went in for a hug which I didn't stop. We sat there in each other's arms and just embraced that we found each other again.

I heard my phone ring, we pulled away and I saw that Leo was calling me. I answered.

"Hey, what's up?"

"We're going on a date that's what's up." I chuckled. "I'm coming to pick you up in like five minutes." My mouth made an 'o' shape.

"Alright, see ya' then Dimples." I smiled. "See ya' then Freckles." He replied, then we ended the call. I turned back to Ethan. "I'm just about to go out, so-" He stopped me.

"Don't worry, you're coming to the interview anyways. Alright, see ya' ol' neighbour." We shared one last smile and he left my place. I went back to the washroom and checked that everything still looked good. It did. There was a knock at my door, I jogged over.

I opened it and saw Leo in a button-up shirt, khaki pants, and brown Chelsea boots. He had a watch that matched his shoes and his sleeves were rolled up nicely. "You look wow." I smiled, blushing and looking down. "Thanks, you do too." I glanced up at him.

He took my hand and we were off to who knows where.
