Belle's POV
We were standing in line for the bumper cars when Ethan asked me something I wouldn't have thought he would. "Do you wanna share a bumper car? The cars do have two seats." I smiled, nodding. "Wouldn't we be squished?" He shrugged as a sly smirk appeared on his face. I rolled my eyes and chuckled as the line moved. It was soon our turn. We picked a car and sat down, buckling our seat belts.

The cars started moving and we were off. We both frantically tried to steer when his hand was above mine. He smiled to himself and continued to steer, both our hands together. It was sweet. The ride was over too soon. Ethan showed me a smile and let go of my hand, taking off his seat belt and getting out. I followed soon after.

Ethan walked up to a carnival game. Those things are rip offs. People barely win and it's really expensive. Every year, Ethan and I would try to win and we would lose. Every single time. Although, this time Ethan won. He won a giant stuffed Pikachu. "Nice job!" I cheered with a smile. "Thanks but here. You have it." I furrowed my brows. "Why? You won it." He shook his head. "Think of it as a gift." I smiled opening my arms to hold the Pikachu. He didn't give it. "I'll carry it until we get home." I nodded, thanking him.

It was sunset before we knew it. But we had forgotten one thing. The Ferris wheel. We always went on it at sunset because it would look so pretty. I nudged Ethan's shoulder and pointed towards the huge sillouette of a Ferris wheel. All the families would leave so there would be short lines. We got on and we started to go up. "The view is just like I remembered it to be. Beautiful." I took in a deep breath.

"Yeah, beautiful." He said quietly. I smiled taking out my phone and taking a few pictures. Also, a couple selfies. It was a really great day. Suddenly, the Ferris wheel stopped right at the top. We shot our eyes at each other. "Attention riders!" The speakers boomed with a male voice. "We are facing a small delay with the Ferris wheel. Please stay seated inside the cart until further notice. Thank you for your cooperation." The speakers cut and it was silent. I looked down, the ground dozens of feet away. I got scared, sitting back into my seat. "Hey..." Ethan said concerned. "What's wrong?" I pointed downwards, hesitant to look. "It's okay, we'll be down on the ground in no time." He rubbed my forearm soothingly.

A huge gust of wind hit us as the sun slowly sneaked underneath the horizon like a cover. I shivered. Ethan took off his jacket and put it on me and wrapped his arms around me, taking me into his chest. I closed my eyes, feeling so protected in his arms. I snaked my arms around him, his arms got tighter around me and a smile made its way onto my lips. He shook me. "Hey, look." He said quietly. I opened my eyes sitting back in my seat and saw one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. My mouth slipped open and I shot my head towards him. He nodded his head smiling.

I took my phone out at snapped a picture. I also took a picture of the sunset in the background with our hands making the peace sign. It was truly an amazing day. I smiled, feeling as if I was on top of the world. Kind of ironic considering where we were. The Ferris wheel started moving again followed by the speakers going off again. We started walking out of the carnival when I noticed I was still wearing Ethan's jacket. I started to take it off of me but he stopped me. He simply shook his head. I smiled looking at the ground. We had exited the park when we stopped and looked back.

It was at that moment that I remembered everything we did at this carnival. I remembered the rides that were new and how anxious we were to go on them. I felt an arm snake around my shoulders and a kiss being planted on my head. I shot my eyes at him. His brows furrowed and I quietly said "Leo." A blank look on his face. He started to apologize but I stopped him. "It's okay, just don't do it again." He nodded and we walked back to his car. I rubbed his back with my hand and he put his arm around me. We walked like that all the way back to his car.

When I started to think about it, I felt bad for Leo. But I hadn't had this much fun with Leo, ever. I was confused none the less. Today was a really good day and I can't wait to do it again. But what I couldn't get out of my head was the way Ethan held me on top of the Ferris wheel.

Is it bad that I wanted more?
