Belle POV
I was sitting in the salon with Amy and Kathryn when they started asking me about Ethan. "So," Amy started, "tell us about how you and Ethan grew up together." I cracked a small smile. I told them everything. From the day we met, to prom, to the time I thought I wouldn't see him again. I felt some tears come on but I held them back. I felt Kathryn rub my arm soothingly. "So, yeah. I thought I would never see him again but, here we are." I smiled to myself, thinking of him.

"Sounds like you two are meant to be." Amy smirked at Kathryn. I was taken back by that comment. Did she really mean it or was she saying it because it was what I wanted to hear. I didn't bother going too deep into it so I just smiled. "Ooh, you're blushing!" Kathryn said in a little girl voice. I simply rolled my eyes. I felt my phone buzz, I took it out and saw Ethan was calling me. I answered.

"Hey. What's up?"

"Nothing, I was wondering when you were gonna' come home." I was pensive.

"In about half an hour. Why?"

"Just asking. Alright, see ya' then!"

"Bye!" I hung up and both Amy and Kathryn were making kissy faces at me. I rolled my eyes once again and put my phone away. "Belle," I looked at Amy, "I don't know if I should ask this but, where are your parents? You've never talked about them, just your grandma." I took a deep breath.

"It's okay you asked but it's that my parents abandoned me when I was a newborn and my mom left me with her mom, my grandma, my mom had me when she was my age and ran off with her boyfriend. My grandma is the only family I had." I felt Amy put her hand on mine as I looked down at my lap.

"I'm sorry." They both said in unison. I shook my head. "There's no need to be." After a little bit, we walked out of the salon. In the distance I saw a lady who looked a lot like grandma walking with a younger man and woman. As we got closer I saw in fact it was grandma, but I still didn't know who the other people were. I greeted grandma and introduced her to Kathryn and Amy.

"Belle, sweetie, these are your parents."

Well Ethan, I won't be home for a while.
