Ethan's POV
We sat there staring at the stick that yelled "POSITIVE". I looked at her with worry. "Well, what are you gonna' do?" She didn't say anything, just stared at the stick and fiddled with it. She took a deep breath and began to speak, "Well, I know I'm going to keep it." I furrowed my brows. "You are?" She nodded, wiping away tears."Yeah, what did it do to me or you? I'm going to have this baby. I'm not killing it just because I don't want it." I nodded. "I'm going to love the hell out of it. I don't care what gender, or if it has any disabilities. I will love this child, one way or another." She pointed to her stomach. I nodded, giving her a hug. "And I'll be here for you. The whole damn time." We exchanged smiles. Then, her stomach grumbled. "Have you ate anything?" She shook her head. I checked the time, it was 3:27 in the afternoon.
"Then let's go eat!" I cheered standing up. She chuckled, standing up as well. I went to go put my shoes on. "Wait!" She yelled. "I need to go shower first." I nodded walking back to the couch and she disappeared into the apartment. I sat there, staring into space thinking about Belle. I don't know what it is about her but it's drawing me to her like back in high school. She's just like she was in high school. So innocent yet not. It's the perfect combination, She is amazing, funny and the best person to go to when you need to vent.
I don't know but something is telling me that I want to be with her again. I feel as if I can be with her all the time. The more I think about the time we went to the carnival. When I held her at the top of the Ferris wheel. I wish I could hold her like that again without it being weird. I got lost in my thoughts, going from one place to another. Soon, she came back and we left the apartment.
We came across this really tiny and cute restaurant. We went in and waited for the hostess. She came back and I stepped up, "Table for two, please." We exchanged smiles. She picked up two menus and escorted us to a table. There was a window beside us that had a really nice view. 'Not as nice as her...' I cleared my head and focused my attention on the menu. "Can I get you guys some drinks?" I looked at Belle. "Just a water." She said. I followed up. "Same for me." The waitress nodded and walked away. "What do you want?" I asked her peeking over my menu. She looked up, her eyes meeting mine.
"The spaghetti looks good. How about you?" I shrugged. "I guess I'll get the same." As soon as I finished that sentence, a waitress came to our table. She set the water down on the table as we thanked her. "So, what will you be having today?" She got her pen and pad ready. "Spaghetti for the both of us." She scribbled on the pad. She took our menus and walked away, leaving us alone once again. I looked at her, her eyes scanning the view, like some sort of robot. Her green eyes, sparkling in the sunlight that was coming through.
Her skin, almost literally glowing without a touch of makeup. She rested her head against the glass, closing her eyes. Almost wanting a moment of solitude. I saw a tear trickle down her cheek, I went to go wipe it away but she beat me to it. She opened her eyes and saw me staring at her. I gave her a worried look. "I'll tell you later." She said quietly, almost in a whisper. I nodded, looking away.
Belle's POV
The way he cares for me is amazing. It's just like when we were younger. It's like he didn't change a single bit. I looked at him, his blue eyes going around the restaurant, looking at the patrons, waiters and waitress, tables and everything else. I smiled to myself and looked down. When I looked back up, he was staring at me. We exchanged smiles. We stared into each other's eyes for the longest time. It seemed like he was about to take a hold of my hand but just then, the waitress came. He pulled back.Perfect timing, Waitress...
