Throughout the entire trip, no one made a sound in the pod as it went through the waves, sea and into the PEIDB headquarters. The return journey seemed faster as Jack was eager to get the alien back to the director. The Jupitian Prince was watched Earth's ecosystem throughout the trip in silence.
Jeremy dozed off, dreaming about pretty girls from Venus in swimsuits. It was not a naughty dream, it was just a sort of fantasy, but it gave the Prince no interest to read such stupid dreams. He knew better than to waste his time reading something that would not help him in the slightest way. Jack was preoccupied with the driving. Every time his thoughts would drift to the Jupitian or PEIDB's secrets, he forced himself to think about the waves, not knowing that the Jupitian had long read his thoughts without him thinking about it.
Once inside the headquarters, the three headed straight to the director's office. It was many levels down below the main lobby where Jeremy had first met up with Jack. The entire floor was the director's office. The room was in elegant glossy black decor. There was a huge mainframe at the right side from the elevator shaft and the director sat right in the center going through piles of old files and folders that were on his onyx table. The Jupitian Prince led the way; he had long retrieved a map of the place from Jack's brain.
The director was seated in a comfortable looking leather chair, turned away from the door and looking out of his window which had a fantastic view of the Statue of Liberty. It was not a real window, but actually another huge computer monitor screen that was linked to their spy satellites. On hearing the footsteps, the director spun around on his chair. He held a cigar in his lips. He looked about sixty; his hair was all white. He wore complete white, which, together with his white hair, made him look godly in contrast to the room. Yet, his eyes showed malice and shone brightly despite his age. There was no sign of benevolence in him. Only malice and cruelty vibes were present.
He eyed the Jupitian Prince suspiciously and asked Jack, "So, who is this?"
Jack sneaked a look at the Jupitian and answered respectfully, "He is the Jupitian Prince, sent to Earth to act as the Supreme Jupitian Ambassador and to gather information on Earth to send back to Jupiter."
The director looked at the Prince, leaned back on his extra-comfortable chair and asked, "So, how do we know that he's from Jupiter?"
Jack scratched his nose as he answered, obviously annoyed by the same question posed by his younger partner, "From the information obtained from the other captured aliens from Mars, Venus, Mercury, Pluto, Saturn and Neptune, we've gathered information that the Jovian technology is the highest in the galaxy and maybe the Universe. And since the pod that penetrated our planetary space was virtually undetectable, and its size matched descriptions, we've deduced that the pod is of Jovian origin. Also, this boy also told us he's from Jupiter."
The director roared, palms slamming on the table and rising.
"Are you going to believe anyone that just comes in a pod and tells you that he is from Jupiter and bring them right here to the headquarters? What if he is an invading force from other galaxies and other planets? Does he have any proof that he is Jovian, other than having dyed hair and probably bleached skin? In fact, he looks like a normal boy to me and a very mischievous one. Probably some kid playing on the island pretending to be some know-it-all alien."
The director leaned against his table to have a closer look at the weird boy before him. "I cannot believe that you two brought a pre-teen before me just because he came out of a big toy pod to steal our secrets and technology given how apparently backward his planet probably is. Take him away, and show him our Class 1 technology and shove him back on a Martian pod back to wherever he came from."
