The next morning, the chirping of birds outside awakened the Jupitian. He rubbed his eyes and stretched. The lights in the pod came on as the window lost its opacity to let in the sunlight. The pod greeted, "Good morning, I have a surprise for you on the table."
A silver plate ejected out beneath the huge screen, and now served as the table. Nonetheless, human eyes would no doubt, fail to detect the thousands of hidden compartments.
The Jupitian Prince took the folder and teasingly asked, "Well, this is my folder?"
"Look inside. After which, I will report to you the final transmission received from the warship."
The Jupitian Prince took out the documents and teasingly said, "Why, they're the documents in the folder."
"Read the documents, Your Highness."
The Jupitian Prince looked at the folder and was mildly surprised.
The pod computer had changed the names and details generating a completely new identity.
"I hope you don't mind, I took the liberty to change the details as the old details would have given your location away. I have also hacked into the secret council's computers to input the data. You are twelve years old. Your name is Ken. Your full name and the other details are on the documents. This is so that the PEIDB would not be able to track you down. You had given them more of a Jupitian appearance, so there would not be a suspicion on whatever race you would re-adapt to adopt. I have entered data suggesting mixed ancestry to make it convenient for you to look like any race you desire to or maybe even partially keep your Jupitian appearance. However, something must be done about that sapphire blue hair and your milk white skin. Your fast-adapting ability should enable you to look more human in three days."
The Prince looked at his reflection on the screen, which had become a plane mirror for a while and said, "I don't suppose that I need to change much. There's hair dye on Earth and, I could always say I dyed my hair. All I should do is probably re-adapt my skin and hair texture to suit Earth. That would also be more than enough to prevent easy detection from the PEIDB. They can't, after all, go track everyone. My milky white skin would not be able to last long with Earth's exposure and distance from the Sun. There may still be more earth human in me despite the thousands of years apart."
The pod paused for a while beeping in agreement, "Your certified blood group is O plus, the most prevalent ones. That would allow you to be able to save people through donation of blood to avoid suspicion. I will be manufacturing artificial O blood, so you can pass off as one when the need arises. The rest of the details will be accessed as soon as the destination is determined."
The Jupitian Prince smiled and complimented, "Wow, you're really one of the most efficient and latest pod models. As a reward, I shall let you mess up the PEIDB computers, or what's left of it."
The pod beeped a few pleasant-sounding beeps. "I have already hacked into the PEIDB computer, and it appears that their computers are badly damaged. By hacking into their satellites and communications links, it appears that you; your highness was the cause of all that. Also, their buildings have been declared unstable and dangerous, thus they have decided to relocate temporarily to a new location given the little mountain, and the earthquake yesterday."
"You've done a good job. Any idea where they actually went?"
"It seems that they had taken extreme precautions this time. They were so paranoid, and afraid to be traced, that this time, they left no clue. However, from the local authorities' computers, I was able to know that their intranet is working."
"Pathetic..." smiled Ken, shaking his head.
"Yes, I have also downloaded all the case files pertaining to the Secret Council and SEB. Many PEIDB files were lost in the explosion."
