Greetings from Jupiter. It is my utmost pleasure to present to you this story. It is in effect, a science-fiction novel, filled with aliens, conspiracies and high-tech gadgets. It was my intention to make this book suitable for leisure reading, and I hope that you would fully find the book enjoyable.
The writing of the story, was a story in its own way. There was a lot of fun in the writing of the book as I was at the phase of paranoia where everything seemed to be not what they seemed to be. Some of the events led me on to further paranoia even though they were interesting.
One contribution to my paranoia which was also very interesting was that my theory of projective invisibility was shown on a television program – 'Future Fantastic' hosted by Gillian Anderson in 1998 exactly one week after I completed my first draft. It had come as a shock to me as I had thought that my theory of projective invisibility was genuinely innovative. It also made me wonder then, if typing the story on the computer was a good idea. Even so, I was very surprised then that "my theory" of molecular invisibility – "physical invisibility" as referred to in this book, had yet been proposed. To me, it seemed to be theoretically sound, but also perhaps something not achievable soon.
Another interesting 'alien' event during the first draft of the story back then, was that my phone was acting weird, it beeped before and after every call. Even when the connecting phone outside my room was being used or hung up, the phone in my room beeped, leading me to paranoia of spying.
I wrote the first draft of this novel back in January 1998 in Singapore while waiting for my examination results. Since then, several modifications and editing have been done.
Yet, no novel is totally done by the author alone, and there are people that I feel that I must thank for their advice and help.
The greatest support came from my parents for their encouragement and accommodating support. I must also not fail to mention the Ong family in their help in settling me down in London UK. Not forgetting, I have to mention Kavita the Gorgeous (as requested by her) my flat mate then, helped me through the publication process during her exams. Thanks to Mr. Kelvin Koh who had read and corrected my first draft back in 1998.
All in all, I sincerely hope that anyone would enjoy this book as much as I had in writing it.
God Bless
Samuel

Foreword for 2nd Edition.
The second edition had some changes in the story of the origins, as well as throughout book to reflect changing views of some theories that I no longer hold. Nonetheless, it was fun revisiting the book, impressing an older self on ideas that were futuristic at the time on writing, when WIFI, wireless internet, and VR were not prevalent yet.
