"Keep the blade up, it's easier to drop it than keeping it up....along with your head." Stahl instructed as he taught Sabine some saber techniques with her Darksaber. Stahl had become as good a swordsman as Kanan or even Ahsoka. Ezra was sitting on a rock watching his friends train from a distance. He saw Sabine divebomb at Stahl but she missed and ended up on the ground and as she went to grab her saber, Stahl held his blue laser sword to her neck, "And that's your head."

"No fair. You have more experience and the Force." Sabine complained as she got the dust of her armor. "Maybe you're right. You could use someone who has less experience. Ezra, your turn." Stahl agreed with Sabine's remark. "Ok, 'Master Demon'" Ezra quipped. As they ignited their weapons, Ezra gave a small smirk while Sabine gave an angry look, "You just don't get it, do you?" She gave him a hard blow but he blocked it, "What are you talking about? What do I don't get?" "That even though you keep trying to woo me, to make me fall in love with you, you just end up getting hurt in the end. Well let me break it to, you and I will never be a thing. We'll never get married, have a kid, or live together for the rest of our lives because you wanna know why? Because you're you: a worthless selfish orphan streetrat that has gotten us killed way too many times to even apologize." Sabine took his lightsaber from his hands and hit him in his eye and nose with the hilt of her saber, "Or if you're too stupid to understand, I'll say it like this 'I WILL NEVER LOVE YOU!!!!'." As she stopped crushing her opponent's soul, she turned to Stahl with his mouth open wide, "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!!!!" "What did I do? You said fight him and I fought him." Sabine defended herself. "Oh really then where's Ezra?"

Ezra POV
How could she say that to me? I thought we really bonded over the years we've known each other that she'd see that I grew out of my old self. Her words still went through my head even as I walked to walk away from her, "I NEVER LOVE YOU!!!!". I walked to my room until I saw Scarlett on my way there. "Hey Ezra." She greeted me. I walked past her showing no emotion. "Uh Ezra, are you ok?" I turn to face her but I started sobbing. She hugged me and said, "What's wrong, sweetie?" I just cried louder until she said, "It's ok if you don't want to talk about it, but if it helps what I do when feel angry or happy, I sing through my pain." "Ok I'll try that. Thank you, Scarlett." I said in between my pain of heartbreak. She kissed my cheek and said, "Go get some sleep, you had a long day." I nodded and walked into my room. I didn't take off my clothes. I tried to fall sleep but I could still hear Sabine's words to me like an echo in a cave. I basically cried myself to sleep while burrying my face into my pillow.

Scarlett POV
Poor Ezra. I've never seen him so hurt. He's always got a smile on him but he looked heartbroken or shattered from the inside. "What possesed you to say something like that, Sabine?!" I heard Stahl yell at Sabine from the common room. "Stahl, come on. The kid's been through worse than an insult. He'll be smiling by tomorrow morning." Sabine said with cockiness. I walked in and asked, "What are you two arguing about?" "Nothing. Good night, guys. And Sabine, promise me you'll talk to Ezra. He's pretty hurt for what happened." Stahl said and he left the ship to his room that he shared with Ketsu. "Ok, seriously. What's going with Ezra?" I said getting a little bit worried. "I'll tell you about it in the morning. Come on, let's go to bed." Sabine said with innocence. We walked to our room and we went to bed.

The next morning

Sabine POV
Ugh. What the hell is that noise? Who is up at 6 in the morning? It sounded like if someone was playing a guitar. And it's coming from the roof. I looked who it was and it was Ezra. Wow, I didn't know he could a play a guitar or sing.

I sat down next to him and said, "I am your friend. I was just tired of everyone thinking that I can't fight with the Darksaber as well as a Jedi like Kanan, Ahsoka, or......you. Maybe I'm still not ready to use in combat. Maybe it was an accident me finding the Darksaber." "Sabine, nothing happens by accident, it's the will of the Force that anything happens. And I think you can fight like as well as any Jedi." He said. I hugged him. I felt him hug me back slowly. "Please don't hurt like that again, Bine." He begged for mercy (You see what I did there. And people say that I'm not funny) "I promise. I love you, Blue." I replied to his plea. "I-I-I-I love you too, Bine." He kissed my forehead and we looked into the sunrise as more than friends.
