Okay, guys, so I was just, yah know, YouTubing around when for some reason my brain decided to make thoughts (well, actually, it does that all the time, but, you know).
So, you know how how in The Lion King, Mufasa (RIP) tells Simba that everything the light touches will be his when he's king, and then Simba is all like "what about that shadowy area over there?" And all that jazz? Well, that got me thinking: the elephant graveyard is not the only place in the universe that the light doesn't touch. For instance: the bottom of the ocean, under a house, a cave...
But wait. Simba's pride makes their home at pride rock. They sleep under the overhang that is left by the rock, and, you know, relax there to avoid the hot desert sun. Well... do you think the light reaches the area under the rock? Probably not. So, therefore, Simba doesn't and never will own half of his own living area.
Okay, okay, I know, it's all metaphorical and stuff, but still. Think about it.
