"wait, you smashed your slurpee in to the boy named jon"? audrey asks, brushing her hair in front of her vanity.

jade crossed her legs on her bed. "yes! jade squealed.

"he looked so familiar".  jade muttered.

audrey opened one of drawers and grabbed her makeup bag. she dumped all of her makeup products out on the top. audrey sighed.

"aud, what's wrong"? jade asks, still on her bed.

"I don't know... I guess its everything". audrey said, looking at jade in the mirror.

This concerned jade. jade stood up and hugged audrey.

audrey began crying, "you remember evan"?

"audrey, of course I remember your dog". jade answered, pulling away.

audrey turned, "sorry. I guess I held my tears in a while".

jade hugged audrey tighter.

soon after that, they had a dance party and got ready together.

jade was wearing a white dress with a sweet heart neck line, with thin gold bracelets, half up half down hairstyle, baby pink colored nails, brown flats and a no makeup makeup look.

however audrey was wearing a mustard yellow strapless dress, a choker, black nails, combat boots and a side fishtail hair style.

the two girls looked in audery's full body length mirror and felt content with themselves.

"We look fabulous". audrey said, moving different angles and looking at the mirror.

"The potato salad is really good, audery".

they both turn to see their chemistry teacher ; mrs. sawyer.

audrey smiled with pride, "thank you mrs. sawyer"

"no, please call me rebecca or becky during the summer". (Tom Sawyer anyone??)
she replied, taking another bite of audery's famous dish.

A couple minutes later, audery began tapping jade's shoulder repeatedly.

"what"! jade said with a mouthful of pulled pork in her mouth.

audrey turned jade around. audrey was about to speak but she didn't need to.

the boys from the beach were here including jon

jade smiled and waved to jon. When jon saw jade, he grinned. jon called "hey slurpee girl"!

jade's cheeks became rosy. He walked up to her, with the crew behind him.

"do you mind if we ate with you"?

"of course not"! jade politely said.

jon sat next to jade, the short one across from jade and a boy who looks like jon sat across from audery.

as soon as they sat down, she began to feel like she was presenting a project to a class. eyes on her. staring. not knowing what to say.

nervously, jade kicked the attractive boy across from her. jade's eyes widen, "oh gosh i'm sorry". she said, feeling embarrassed.

"it's fine, i'm joey, that's jordan and...oh" joey looked around and pointed to two males, "that's donnie and danny".

"jade". and at the same time audrey stated her name too. this brought a smile to jade's face and soon her feeling of being nervous soon changed to happy.
