Chapter 12

Eren made me want to fuck him right then and there as he purposely whispered seductively in my ear.

I was pulling up into the driveway with Hanji. We had already went to the store so she was holding a bag of her medicine along with a few things she bought.

I also had bought some groceries since my fridge and pantry was getting a bit empty. I blame Hanji since she always eats my food.

We both got out of our car as she made her way to her house. She had to trudge through the snow since it was above her ankles.

" Thanks, Levi ", she waved at me before I entered into my house. Immediately, I collapsed onto my couch, throwing my keys and wallet onto the dining table.

I was going to Eren's in four hours for whatever the fuck it is. He told me to dress nice so maybe he's going to take me on a date ? I don't fucking know.

I changed back into sweats and a sweater before taking a quick nap on the couch.

When I mean 'quick', I mean taking a 3 hour and 30 minute nap. It was fucking 5:30 p.m when I woke up confused as fuck.

I checked my phone and cursed at myself as I realized it was only 1%. I quickly ran into my room to charge it and ran to my bathroom.

I did the usual shower, which was only 15 minutes long. I brushed my teeth and made my way to bedroom. I wasn't rushing that much but I didn't want Eren to wait.

One thing I hate about going out is the outfit. It literally takes me about thirty minutes to an hour to find an outfit to wear.

" Fuck, fuck , fuck ", I continued to mutter out as I look through my closet. It was already 5:55 and I did not pick anything yet.

I just went with a black button up long sleeve and rolled them up. I also paired it with denim skinny jeans along with black shoes.

It was still snowing outside so I made sure to grab a coat on my way out. Since my hair was still dry, I decided to blow dry it.

It was already 6:10 by the time I got out of the door so I texted Eren to tell him I was going to be late.

I got into my car and started driving as soon as I started it. I had to turn on my windshield wipers since it was snowing a bit.

It wasn't long until I finally arrived at his apartment. I quickly found a parking spot and turned the car off. I made sure to lock it and basically speed-walked to the lobby.

I saw the same lady at the front desk eating a bag of chips. I kindly greeted her and made my way to the elevators.

After what felt like hours, I was finally in front of Eren's door. I took a deep breath and knocked three times. Two minutes has passed by and he finally opened up the door.

" Hey Levi ", he quickly pecked my lips before letting me inside. He was wearing a white shirt with denim jacket and black skinny jeans.

" Damn, do you look hot ", my eyes trailed up and down at Eren's body as a tint of pink appeared on his cheeks.

I hung my coat on a rack and took my shoes off. It was actually really cold at Eren's apartment so he decided to turn the heater on.

I didn't pay much attention on what was on his island until he pointed it out.

There was a dish of chicken alfredo pasta along with cut up steak on another plate. A bottle of champagne was chilling in a bucket of ice. Two candles were on either side of the foods.

There was a folded card in the middle as I walked closer to it. I opened it up and it revealed a poem.

The universe took its time on you
crafted you precisely

I took a seat onto a chair as Eren sat across of me.

" I invited you here to eat dinner with me of course since we actually haven't gone onto a proper date. I know I didn't ask you properly but you're here now ", he smiled at me.

All I could do was chuckle as I looked at the food he cooked. I was surprised he could actually cook.

" My mom taught me how to cook when I was younger, she actually let me keep one of her favorite cook books ", he continued on.

" You didn't have to do all of this ", I looked up at Eren.

" Anything for you, even if we're together or not.. champagne ? ", I nodded my head as he opened up the bottle and poured the both of us a glass.

We both held up our wine glass after he had put down the champagne.

" Let's eat ", we both smirked at each other as we clinked our glasses together.
