I found myself parked in front of the hotel, Royal Sina Hotel. I was mentally preparing myself for whatever was going to come. I got out of my car and slowly made my way into the hotel.
The lobby was very luxurious, I've only been to this hotel once.. which was with Petra. I shook my head and went straight to the elevators. I pressed the button that went all the way up to floor 11.
I waited for a few minutes with people coming in and out. Finally, I was on the floor and made my way to find her room. Room 1123. I took a few turns until I was right in front of her door.
It took me enough courage to even knock on her door. I wanted to leave so badly but I needed answers from her. I waited for a few minutes until she finally opened the door. It looked like she was getting ready for bed since she was wearing pajamas and a shirt.
" Come in ", she gestured me in so I walked inside. She closed the door behind me while I awkwardly stand there.
" You can sit ", she pointed at the couch so I walked over there and sat. She went into the kitchen and opened few cabinets before grabbing a small box.
" Do you want tea ? ", the small box she grabbed was filled with tea bags. She looked at me as I nodded my head no. She filled the her mug with hot water and inserted the tea bag. She waited for the tea to seep until she could come join me at the couch.
She walked over to the coffee table and set her mug on it. She sat on the opposite end of the couch as I wait for her to say something.
" Funny bumping into each other twice, huh ? ", she smiled at me. I gave her my bored expression in return.
" What are you doing here, Petra ? ", I needed answers. Why she left me, why she's here.
" I'm on vacation from my job..and I also wanted to find you ", she sighed. After breaking up with me and moving to another state with someone else, she wanted to find me ? After breaking my heart ? Hell to the fuck no.
" I'm going to ask you questions, and you better give me answers to them. ", I demanded answers from her. She sipped on her tea before placing it back down.
" Why did you want to find me ? ", I simply asked. She propped her arm on the couch and rested her head on her palm.
" It's been a year since we last saw each other, and I wanted to see how you were doing ", I didn't say anything.
" Why did you leave me ? Why did you say yes when I proposed ? ", my voice cracked. I tried to hold back my tears from forming.
" I said yes because I loved you. I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you, but then.. I met- ", I cut her off. I was pissed.
" Oluo ", I spat his name out. She looked down as if she was ashamed of herself. I closed my eyes and let out a deep breath.
" It was a stupid decision to even chose him. Levi, I'm so sorry ", tears were forming in her eyes.
" Me and Oluo broke up on Christmas. I caught him with another girl in bed.. ", she started to cry in her hands. I genuinely felt bad about her, but at the same time she deserved it.
I waited for her to settle down and stop crying. I did hand her a tissue box that was sitting on a counter.
" After we broke up, I had put our house up for sale and I moved into an apartment ", she blew her nose into the tissue.
" I miss you, Levi. I would do anything to be with you again ", here comes this bullshit. She looked at me with her red eyes and begged.
" After everything you did to me ? Move in with me, say yes to my proposal, and break our wedding off so you can go fuck around with your new boyfriend ?! ", I rose my voice at her.
" Hell, we even wanted a baby together ! No, I don't want you anymore ", tears were streaming down her face again. I began to walk towards the door with Petra
" I'm happy with someone else, and his name is Eren Jaeger ! I love him with all my heart, and you can't just fucking come back into my life and ask for another chance. How pathetic ! ", I opened the door and looked straight in Petra's eyes.
" I hope you realize how badly you fucked up. Goodbye Petra, I never want to see you ", I closed the door in front of her face. At this point, tears were falling from my face as I quickly walked to the elevators.
I tried my best to stop crying but more tears kept coming out. I was finally in the lobby and basically ran to my car. As I got inside, I began to pound on my steering wheel. I quietly sobbed into my hands.
