Today marks a year since me and Eren had started dating. We were currently getting ready to go on a date for our 1 year anniversary. We were both wearing a suit, since that's what I told him to wear.
I was taking him out to a fancy restaurant that was in town. He was currently in the bathroom styling his hair as I was in bedroom. He decided to move in with me since he's always at my house now.
I was fixing my suit, and had taken out a small velvet box in my pocket. I opened it up and revealed a ring. It was a silver platinum ring and obviously, I was going to propose to Eren.
I heard the bathroom door open and quickly closed the box shoving it back into my pocket.
" Ready to go ? ", I asked him as he entered into the room. He was fixing his tie a bit until he gave an approved nod. It was also snowing outside so we had to bring our coats. Hanji was currently outside sitting on her rocking chair as she was snuggled up into a blanket with a cup of hot chocolate.
When she saw me and Eren outside, she gave me a wink since I told her about my plan. Eren didn't see, but we both nodded at each other and sent her a wink back.
We got into the car and the heaters were already on. We drove away from my house and onto the road. Eren was admiring all the Christmas decorations set up at stores and some houses. After a good 30 minutes, we finally arrived at the restaurant, Le-Bistro.
" It's beautiful ", Eren said as we entered into the restaurant. There was a tall red-headed lady in the reservation stand wearing a long red dress. We walked up to her with my hand in Eren's.
" Reservation for Levi ", she flipped through the book and pointed checked my name.
" For two ? ", we nodded our head. She showed us to our table which was in a secluded area. She had given us the menu as we both sat at the opposite end of the round table while we wait for a waiter to come by.
At this point, my legs were shaking due to me getting nervous. Eren seemed to notice and grabbed ahold of my hand.
" Hey, are you okay ? ", he asked while rubbing my hand.
" I'm fine, just nervous ", I give him a small smile.
" Don't worry, just relax. Nothing will go wrong, it's our anniversary anyways ", we laced our fingers together. Finally, a waiter or waitress came by.
" Hello, my name is Isabel. Can I please start with your drinks ? ", she held out a small notebook with a pen. She was short, probably my height. She had purple hair and her eyes were the color of Eren's.
" We will both have water, please ", Eren spoke. She wrote it down and looked back up at us.
" And what will you guys order ", she gave us a smile. Me and Eren had ordered the same thing and continued to wait for our food.
This restaurant was my favorite. There was a band that played soothing music, and the workers here were very nice.
" I remember the first time we met, it was like it happened yesterday ", Eren looked down and smiled. I remembered clearly how we met and got closer.
" I'm really glad Hanji introduced us to each other ", I took a sip of my water that the waitress had given us. Eren silently agreed with me and had a few talks here and there.
Finally, our food had came in with a bottle of wine that we didn't order. Me and Eren were both confused until the waitress explained.
" That couple over there ordered the bottle of wine for you ", she pointed to another table and revealed Hanji and Erwin. They were looking at us with a smirk on their face. Eren saw them and began to question me. I thanked Isabel and waited for her to leave so I could talk to Hanji and Erwin.
" What are you guys doing here ?! ", I whispered at them. They both looked at each other and waited a few seconds for them to answer me.
" So we could watch our best friend propose ", she whispered. Their food finally came and I left them to go back to Eren.
He decided not to question why they were here as we started to eat our dinner.

We were finally done eating our dinner and waited for our desserts to come. Again, I began to be more nervous as I was about to ask him to marry me. I grabbed ahold of Eren and made him stand up. He gave me a questioning look but let me finish to what I was doing.
" Eren.. ", I paused and looked at his face. Hanji and Erwin noticed what was happening and immediately turned to watch us. I could see at the corner of my eye that Hanji was low-key fangirling.
" It has been exactly one year since we started dating, and that has been the best year of my life. ", other people in the restaurant stopped what they were doing and stared at us.
" Before, I didn't believe in that " Love at first sight ", bullshit. But once I saw you, I had fell in love with you. Everything about you is so..beautiful, I can't even explain. And I wanted to ask you something ", I kneeled onto one knee as Eren gasped. Tears were forming in his eyes. I took out the velvet box and held it out in front of me.
" I want to spend the rest of my life with you. We began with honesty, let us end in it too.. Eren Jaeger, will you marry me ", I opened up the box to reveal the ring.
" Yes !! Yes, yes, yes ! ", he said a million times. I got up and we both endured into a lustful kiss. Everyone in the restaurant cheered for us, while others were simply disgusted. Hanji and Erwin had recorded the whole thing.
I was so happy with him, and I don't want to lose him ever.
" I love you so much, Eren Jaeger ".
