Chapter 19

I woke up very early the next morning with Eren sleeping besides me. He had told me that he was going to stay the night since he was worried about me.

I sat up and saw that my room was cleaned and organized. I guess Eren had cleaned my mess up after I knocked out. I checked my phone and didn't see that Hanji and Erwin had texted me last night.

Shitty Glasses, 9:09 p.m :
Levi, are you okay ?! Don't go to work tomorrow if you don't want to, I'll take your shift.

Brows, 9:30 p.m :
I heard about what happened.. please tell me you didn't hurt yourself

I was glad that they cared about me and made sure that I haven't done anything stupid. I replied back to the both of them saying that I was fine.

I also decided to go to work today since Eren had work as well. Though, we both didn't start until the afternoon so we were probably going to lounge around the house till then.

I laid back down and pulled Eren closer to me. He wrapped his arm around my torso with his head near my chest. I placed a kiss on top of his forehead which caused his lips to twitch into a smile.

He opened his emerald color eyes and looked at me. I smiled at him while he yawned and stretched his arms out.

" Morning, babe ", he pulled the sheets over his head to block the sunlight that was coming through my bedroom windows.

" Are you okay ? ", he took the sheets off and looked at me. I nodded my head indicating that I was fine.

" Okay, lets cook ! I'm hungry ", after he said that, his stomach began to grumble.

I got up and stretched my upper body out. I was only wearing sweats since that's the only thing I wear around the house, and noticed Eren staring.

" Take a picture, it lasts longer ", Eren smirked at grabbed his phone.

" Oh I will. Smile ! ", I did as what he said and heard the sound go off.

" You look adorable, this is definitely going to be my new wallpaper ", he showed the photo of me. Soon after, he got up and followed me to the kitchen.

" What are you up for ? ", he was thinking long and hard as I waited for him to answer.

" Bacon and pancakes ! ", I nodded and took the bacon out of the freezer. I had to thaw it out so I placed it into a huge bowl of hot water. I proceeded to take out the ingredients to make the pancakes with the help of Eren.

I poured in a cup of the batter into the pan each time until we didn't have any left. Eren was cooking the bacon on another frying pan that I had.

He managed to sneak up on me and wrapped his arms around my waist. I was in the middle of flipping the pancake and ruined it when Eren startled me.

" Ah, I'm sorry ", he chuckled. He placed a kiss on my cheek and went back to cooking the bacon.

We finished eating our breakfast and had already cleaned everything. We were currently cuddling on the couch while watching a movie. We were watching Moana which had the full attention from the both of us.

" Do you really wanna go work today ? ", Eren looked at me.

" You're going to work and I'm gonna be lonely. Plus, I'm gonna be bored ", if only Eren was able to take a day off today. He didn't argue with me and paid attention back to the movie.

It was already 11 by the time the movie had ended. We stayed in the same position for a few minutes until Eren had to go.

" I'll see you later ", he placed a kiss on my forehead and left. He told me he had to work overnight at the hospital so we wouldn't be able to see each other tonight.

After Eren left, I was still laying down on the couch. I was thinking about what had happened yesterday and how he was still there for me.

I decided to take a shower since it was already 11:35 a.m. I made my way to my bathroom and showered. I did the usual when I had to get ready for work.

By 11:55 , I had left my house and was on the road. I got to lazy to walk so I just took my car instead. Hanji's car had already been fixed but I didn't see it parked in her driveway so I assumed she had already left.

I parked my car next to Hanji's since there was a free space. I got out of the car and made sure to lock it. I walked inside and was hit with the strong smell of fresh coffee.

I was guessing that Hanji had gotten here just earlier when I saw her in the lunchroom putting on her apron. As soon as she saw me, she hugged me.

" I'm fine, I'm fine ", I repeated. I had put all my things away and put on my apron. We were baristas for today so we made our way over to make the drinks.

" I came over last night after my shift ended. Eren answered the door and told me you were asleep so I helped him clean up the mess in your bedroom.. ", she made the first drink.

" Thank you, and I'm sorry you had to see that  ", I muttered. We continued making the drinks while having a few talks here and there. It was finally our break time so we were currently in our lunchroom eating.

" Why do you think Petra's here ? ", i asked Hanji. She was surprised that I even said her name after what just happened yesterday. I was confused. Hanji only shrugged her shoulders as she took a bite of her lunch.

" Probably to hoe around here ", I rolled my eyes at her.

" What ? That's the only thing she's good at doing ", I didn't say anything about that. Shortly, the clock struck 3 and our break has ended so had to go back to work.

The rest of time, we had continuously made drinks for our customers. I almost slipped a couple of times because of Hanji spilling liquid all over the goddamn floor.

Usually, with every drink there was some persons name on it but with the drink I was making had no name. It didn't really bother me much since some people forget to put their names, or the registers would forget to ask.

After I had finished making the drink, I had called it out and placed it onto the counter for them to pick it up. Right when I placed it, someone's hand was placed onto mines.

I looked up and my eyes met Petra's. She looked at me with a concerned look as I pulled my hand away from her. I couldn't say anything so I looked away. Hanji didn't seemed to notice since she was too busy.

" I want to talk, meet me after your shift ends ", she slipped a piece of paper that had writing on it. She walked away from me as I slipped the paper back into my pocket.

It revealed an address to a hotel she was staying at, and I was debating whether to go or not.
