Sodapop's P.O.V.

I'm getting married. Today. I'm getting married to the love of my life. Today. Is this actually happening? Did I actually win the heart of the most beautiful girl in Tulsa? Am I ready to get married? Of course I am. I wouldn't have asked her if I wasn't. Or was it just an impulse. No. I'm ready. I love her and she loves me. And we're gonna grow old and wrinkly together. And we're gonna have a family. And-

All these thoughts were running through my head when the lady if the day walked through the door. "Hey pretty lady" I said.

"Hey baby are you ready? Enjoy your last few hours of being single. 'Cause after this you're stuck with me!" She said.

"Sadie. I love you and I will never be 'stuck' with you." I told her.

"Thanks honey." She smiled. Oh how I love that smile. I put my hands on her hips and pulled her close to me.

"You know how beautiful you are?" I asked brushing my lips against hers.

"How?"

"More beautiful than I can put into words." I said then kissed her.

She pulled away and pushed me playfully. "You're such a liar!"

"Hey! I'm not lying! You are the most beautiful girl I have ever laid my eyes on." I said with a wink.

She hugged me. I could hug her all day. Just then Lucy came in.

"Hey hey hey. No seeing the Bride before the wedding!" She said.

"I thought that was just in her dress!" I said.

"I don't care what it is. Sadie is coming with me to get ready and you are going with the rest of the gang to get ready at my house. Now go." She shooed me out of the room.

"I love you!" Sadie called behind me.

"I love you too!" I yelled back.

Today is the day. The day all my dreams will finally come true.

Sadie's P.O.V.

I was whisked away from Soda by my maid of honour the one and only Lucy Winston.

"Why can't I see my soon to be husband? It's only 8:00 the weddings not till 3:00. How long does it take to get ready?" I whined.

"Honey. It's gonna take a lot longer than you think don't you remember my wedding?" She asked.

"Yeah you're right. But I still wanna see Soda before 3:00."

"Well too bad." She said. I huffed and we went into my room. My dress was lying on my bed. The curling iron was turned on sitting on my dresser.

"Are you ready to get your hair done?" Lucy asked with a smile.

"Yep" I said taking a deep breath.

I heard the door open. I looked over. It was Darry.

"Hey Darry I thought you were going over to my place with the guys?" Lucy questioned.

"I was going to but I thought because Sadie couldn't have her parents here I would stay here instead." He answered.

I stood up from my chair and without saying anything I just hugged him. He welcomed me into his warm embrace and hugged me back tight.

"Thank you Darry." I whispered in his ear.

"No problem-" he was unable to complete his thought because I interrupted him.
