Getting into my car, I placed my bag in the passenger seat- letting out a long sigh. All I wanted to do was go home, to rest these tired aching feet of mine. A bubble bath using sweet smiling scents doesn't sound so bad either, a girl's got to pamper herself right?
Even though she's pregnant, in the third trimester I mind you. The way to Nate and I's apartment is usually a straight shot, but today that isn't the case all. There must be an accident which is contributing to this cluster of stopped cars.
I waited for signs of movement.
Not a thing. Cars are at a stand-still, at the corner of my eye a group of pedestrians got out of the car, asking when the next sign of pass-troughs nay proceed to their daily lives.
This is much like a soap drama. Thirty minutes of nonstop chatter, I'd be lucky if I don't see anyone dying or something.
Isn't that what Soap opera's do, kill off the quote on quote innocent parts in a show.
Having no energy left, staying in the car is my best option yet because no one wants to see a woman carrying a baby gets irate. Heck no you don't want to see that. Because if you do:
She will be mad or upset for days.
---
I would say I'm a friendly person, and through the years my mother would say...
" Kill them with kindness, don't let them see you're in despair or aggressive- just smile saying my mother taught me differently.
God I love that woman, she always sees the good in people's actions. Finally the traffic broke, letting us free from its bumper to bumper holt. I squeal thankfully as I let my foot accelerate on the gas. I can almost see my home from where I am driving.
One minute Isabella you can do this. With that being said, I was now at my happy place. My home. The home I shared with the love of my life.. to whom wouldn't be home until the blue foxy had fed its last customer. What's a girl got to do, when nobody is home, a bubble bath.
Trotting upstairs to the bathroom, I hurriedly get undressed and start drawing the water for my much needed, well deserved me time. Walking over to me sweet scent bath-bomb collection, I grab the one sounding the most relaxing. Blue Forest Rain- opening the well designed packaging smelling it, letting its scent travel up to my nose. It smells A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.
Without a second thought, the bath-bomb falls out of my hand creating a multi-coloring painting in my bathtub.

With the water now illuminated in bright colors, I submerge into the deep tub letting the water rise up like waves. The water feels slightly therapeutic to me, it welcomes me in as I splash creating tides.
I don't know why bath's calm me down, they just do. The pain from today, eases up, the joys of being pregnant I thought: But would I change carrying an unborn child who Nate and I have yet to meet I would not change a thing.
Knowing I've got a life, depending on me is something I cannot put into words except we can't wait for his arrival, along with this new chapter we're embarking on.
Taking my time with the much needed Me time, I find myself engrossed deep in the newest edition of Elle magazine. Elle magazine is my guilty pleasure go to. That and Seventeen magazine witch contains me living vicariously through the models, portraying each season.
I could spend hours looking at magazine's, reading the articles. Realizing I can't spend all day submerged under water, the washing portion's the next thing to do.
Putting the reading material on the side, page dog eared I swiftly begin to massage the shampoo of choice into my red hair. In complete circles.
God it sure felt good to be clean. I don't even remember when I treated myself to a nice bath, with bath bombs.
After massaging the shampoo into my red hair. Its time to do my body. Rinsing my hands off In the soapy water, I gently pull the soap bottle down, with one hand I grab the lid as it spills in my hand.
The shampoo is green apple scented. Retrieving a washcloth, squeezing it letting the soap soak through, I begin the washing sequence. I loose my own self in a trance silently moaning with joyful glee.
I needed this. I really did.
Time passed by quickly as I begun to hear a voice shouting from downstairs and the sound of cookware being used.
With a silk robe on I trot down to see if the commotion is Nate, sure enough it was. " Hey baby" I said strutting into the kitchen.
He stops, turning to me. Pan in hand, " Oh hey babe I see you enjoyed yourself?" Nate murmured, his index finger pointing to my wet hair. " Oh yeah I sure did, I forgot how good it feels to have a hot bath. " I explained.
" Well I'm glad you had a mini spa session. " He muttered, sweetly as his arm began to rub my back, using circular motion. " How's our bundle of joy doing, tonight?" Nate muttered in a childlike tone, " Kicking away " I said, placing my hand on my stomach.
I love to see how he reacts with our baby, even in the womb. " He wants dinner, how long will it be?" I asked, before heading up to change. " Eh roughly about fifteen to twenty. Depends my darling.
I smiled, " Okay love don't take too long."
Before long I stroll up the stairs, to put some actual clothes on, although I don't think Nate would mind if I wore this silk formfitting robe, it might distract his process of making dinner. He might have me instead, if you get my drift.
I choose what I'm going to wear- using process of elimination; glancing into the oversized mirror I scrunch my nose. " I don't like it"
The outfit was too blue for my liking, and didn't make my eyes pop; it definitely looked like I belonged in a funeral home, mourning someone's death: No thank you.
After what seemed like a thousand outfits, I settled on a pink dress with spaghetti straps, paired with some black Tom Holden flats. I hope Nate will not droll over me.
"Baby dinners ready, do I have to find you " He shouts up the stairs sarcastically. I chuckle to myself. " No need my darling, I'm coming. But before you trot downstairs, you throw Nate a blindfold. " Here put it on, you won't regret it.
I wait for a minute, "Blindfold on?"
Nate hesitates, "It's on, but I'm not getting a feeling a good one if I say so. " Nate twitches, as if an electric fuse sparked in his body. " Don't look. " I say, as my feet one after another cascade down the stairs.
" Alright ONE.... TWO.... THREE..... REMOVE I exclaim!!!"
I stand right beside the table awaiting his reaction.
Nate's eyes go wide, taking the sight in of my dress. " Well I wanted to make your heart stop."
He freezes mouth draped open. " Baby you do look incredible, that dress puts me on a high."
" What kind of high?" I smiled.
" Well let's eat dinner, before I have my way with you."
He smirked-.
