Silent No More

Surely someone must see

the signs of my misery?

Isn't there anyone out there

to listen to me?

Look a little closer,

see the pain in my eyes?

Even then you can't see

through this burdening disguise?

No more holding my tongue,

for I have stood up and spoken.

Today is the day

my silence will be broken.

Now that I have told you,

I'll finally be free.

Only my Lord

will make judgement of me.

My voice has been heard,

and I'm fearful no longer.

Oppressed for so long,

but that made me grow stronger.

Ready for everything

as I rise from the floor.

Everyone will now hear me,

I'm SILENT NO MORE.
