You'd Stay Away From Here

If you could read minds,

you'd stay away from here

because if you could read mine,

you'd be in tears.

If you could hear for miles,

you'd stay away from here

because my cries and prayers

would leave you in tears.

If you could feel emotions,

you'd stay away from here

because drowning in my sadness

would leave you in tears.

But, if you could if you could fix my brokenness,

please don't leave me here

because my need to be whole again,

leaves me in tears.
