A Crappy, Sappy, Love Poem

I want your love,

I feel your hate.

I wish to be the one

you can appreciate.

Its weird to say,

but you make me happy.

This poem is starting off

really sappy and crappy.

I love your heart,

and I love your smile.

I know they'll only last

for a very short while.

My heart aches with love,

and eyes produce tears of joy.

I remember how we were

as a young girl and boy.

You made me eat a worm,

and I shoved your face in dirt.

We play fought often,

and someone always got hurt.

We looked for lizards,

and we found quite a few.

Ah the good old days,

when it was just me and you.

Now we've grown up,

and its sad to say,

but we have chosen to go

in our own separate ways.

I miss you so much,

and I hope you miss me too

because even after all of this time,

I still only love you.
