Whenever I travel I see the windmills
And the oil pumps
And the farmsI see gas stations
And rest stops
And fast food restaurantsI see the clouds
The stars
And sunsetsI see people that scare me
Mostly older
And some youngI see the long open road
Neighboring towns
And miles of nothingI see rolling hills
And plains
And watersI see doctor pepper
Chips
And candyI see my phone
My book
And journalMy car traps me in for hours
Trapping me in my mind as well
