The bell rang and everyone poured into the small classroom.
I swam my way around the crowd of freshmen and sophomores to my back seat.
When we all settled into our chairs, I turned to Ben.
"How are you holding up?"
He glared at me.
"Stop nagging at me, I'm fine."
I rolled my eyes.
"Sorry for being a good friend."
He chuckled and was about to talk when I heard the empty chair in front of me move.
We turned to see Wesly sit in the seat in front of me.
I frowned.
"Great, now I have to deal with this guy throughout the whole class, I thought he would take the front."
Wesly clenched his fist.
"I don't want to be here with you either, horror chick."
I flicked his head.
"I have a name, jock. It's Malina."
He smirked.
"Doesn't mean I have to use it."
I silenced my growl.
He really pi$$es me off.
Ben held pat my head to calm me but I only glared at him.
"You know I hate it when you pat me."
He held his hands up defensively.
"Hey, I didn't do anything wrong."
I only rolled my eyes and looked up as the teacher walked in and we began our usual class.

When the bell rang again, all of us walked out and I told Ben to get me if he needs anything before leaving for the girl's locker room.
When I walked in all the girls coward away.
I only hid my frown and changed into my mud-stained white shirt and blue basketball shorts.
I left the room and heard all the girls giggle and laugh at me behind my back.
I let out a breath.
As always, my life will never change.

I was sitting against the separate gym's back wall and enjoyed the wind blowing in my ears and the silence that helped me calm down my nerves.
I heard light footsteps as if they were trying to not wake me.
My eyes were closed but my ears were open.
