Chapter 4: Azariah | I'm Mr. Player

Title: I'm Mr. Player

POV: Azariah

My mother, Riahlyn, had sent me in Toronto to study history. Believe me, I really like history. History amazes me, whenever I read some story of the past, I feel like I was there. Like I’ve seen it with my own eyes. The cool breeze of air brushes my skin, the sun’s beam of light dashing across my face as I hugged mom. My brother, Seldon, gave me an overwhelming hug.
He looks like me, I thought. Has he grown up very fast that I hadn’t noticed it?
I walked back and forth inside my room, trying to decide what I would need to do about our relation.
Correction: Our fake relationship.
Gene was very cute and still is. She’s pretty. She has this natural red hair that bounces whenever she walks like she’s a supermodel or something. But she’s not my type, totally not my type.
I just thought she would be fun with. Turned out it’s not. Gene was pathetic. She always asked me to do this, do that, do whatever she wanted me to do. Hell, no!
It’s like I was living in hell. For a short period of time. Of my life.
After my relationship with Maple, I’ve changed. I served her my whole life. One day, I found that she’s been cheating on me. I cried. I begged her to stay with me. But no, she didn’t.
She said she loves Daffodil. He’s a freak. I don’t know why. I am more handsome than he is, cuter than he is. I asked her why, but she just said that she couldn’t understand me. But I think there’s something more to it.

I was with Pepper, Hilton, Ajax, Syrio, Ammon and Max. We were wondering around the hall, making fun of the others. They’re my classmates in history. And they’re my favorite classmates and friends! Pepper is the only girl that can stand me as a friend. I mean, she’s trying not to fall in love with me. Which is very impressive, because she’s not falling for me. We don’t have this appetency.
“Nice skirt, Pepper.” I said. She rolled her eyes at me and punched me hard.
“Nice legs, Pepper.” Syrio said. She smirked, punched Syrio hard that made him out of balance on his feet. We laughed. “Woah!” He exclaimed. We all laughed.
“Don’t say it again Syrio.” I said softly. Pepper glanced up at me and hugged me.
“Awwww. Look. They’re so sweet!” said Ammon, who was making a smooch sounds.
We were talking when I bumped into a girl, she stumbled. “Sorry.” I mumbled.
I think she didn’t hear it because the guys laughed. I noticed the expression on her face, she was wincing. “What the hell?!” She shouted. I knew this game. So I just replied,
“Oh, sorry. Babe. I really am.” I made a smooching sound and Pepper laughed, along with Max and Hilton.
“I am not your fucking babe!” She shouted at me. We were quiet for a moment when she stormed off.
“Oh oh oh. Look who’s mad.” That made her stop.
“Azariah, you’re the man!” said Ajax.
“Fuck you.” The girl said, her nostrils were flaring. She took her room key out of her pocket and head inside her room.
“That was your fault.” Hilton said, pointing a finger at me.
“Fuck you.” I said, smirking.
“Fuck you, too.” He patted me on the shoulder and continued our roaming in the hall.
I wonder what her name is. She’s beautiful. Blond. Sexy. Soft lips. Pinkish. And I wondered if she doesn’t like me, or she was just playing this ‘I-am-mad-at-you-please-get-me’ well. Either way, I like her.
