This is a story from my brother, but it shows how ignorant people are.
So my brother, his friend and my dad were talking after my brothers hockey game and at this rink the upstairs area has a bar. So a guy came down a bit drunk and he came up to my dad saying some pretty harsh things like "what are you stupid" and some other things and began to wave his arms around like he's trying to make fun of my father signing. My brother and his friend told they guy yeah he is deaf so back off, he soon apologized and left.
Even though he was drunk and apologized I still find it ignorant.
