Coda Struggles

So here is a story that happened to me about 2 weeks ago.
I usually get phones calls asking for my father by random spam companies, I don't know why they are using my number but whatever.

So I was in the car with my mom and I get a call from a random person and I pick it up, he asked if ____ (my fathers name) was there and in return I ask what is this for. He begins
to do the same hook of 'it's confidential, so we must only talk to him, and or ask if I am the wife.' I usually reply with sure.
He begins to ask if he could talk to my father and I proceed to say that he is deaf and I stated it about 3 times and the guy didn't get it through his head, he then asked if my father had another number to contact him by and I said no he is deaf. But when he should ask if I am the wife or daughter he automatically ask if I am his care taker automatically assuming that all deaf people need a care taker because they
can't do anything for themselves. I blew up on him asking him if it is his thought that people who are deaf automatically need a care taker. He tried to back teach what he said and then I began yelling and cursing into the phone on how he was an a**hole and d**k and he should be fired because of how rude that was and continued to yell at him and he would continue trying to back track saying no that is not what I was trying to say, but implying it or saying it is the same thing. And I said goodbye and hung up.

(Let me know if I was being dramatic about it but I told my parents and they were pissed.)
