Last year, I was having a conversation with my computer science teacher and she asked about my parents being deaf because I had brought it up in a class discussion. And she was asking normal questions, like how did they loose their hearing/were they born deaf, or what language do we use but the question that shocked me was her asking if my parents have any other learning disabilities.
First of all being deaf is not a learning disability or disability, second you don't ask a student that, third what the actual f**k you don't say that as a person and also as a teacher, and fourth of someone has a disability or problem they don't automatically have other disabilities.
She was only a teacher for the second semester because the first teacher was fired for many reasons and she was never rehired. I never told any teachers at my school, only my friends in the class and some other friends know this story.
(This class is a 1 semester class meaning half year for school)
