Snow's Story (An autobiography of a wolf)

The Plan in Action

     After we talked to Mom and Dad about the fight, we ran to our secret hideout. As usual, I was last.

"So what's the plan" I asked impatiently.

"Well, I was thinking that we ask everyone what their power is. Then, we try to use the power. If we can do it you have that power. Simple" Ace explained.

"But runts aren't supposed to have powers" I snapped back.

"You might" he said,"Haven't you heard the story of the Runt"

"Yes,but Fang destroys the pack, he kills them all" I said.

"Yes,but you would never do something like that" he said.

     Everybody got four wolves to ask about their power. I got Timber,Star,Moon, and Silver. Artemis got Comet, Midnight, Faolan, and Lupe. Night got Balto,Blaze,Thunder, and Nanook. Ace got Willow, Nakita,Ruby, and Crystal.

"Not fair" Ace complained,"How come I get all girls" we all started laughing.

"Okay I will go first" I said. I went up to Timber,"Hi master" I said, I can tell he liked being called master." I was reading a book about a wolf, he has fire powers. Isn't that your power" I asked.

"No, I can blend into shadows,like your Dad" he explained to me how he did it and what it was useful for.

     I went back to our hideout and told them what Timber told me. We all tried to follow the instructions, but it was complicating.

"He said to think about what shadow you want to blend into" I instructed them.

"Yes! I did it" exclaimed Night.

"Dude, where are you" Ace asked, then, out of nowhere, Night tackled Ace. I was cracking up.

"Okay, it is your turn to ask Ace" Artemis told him.

     Ace walked up to Ruby. Ruby is one of our hunters, she is really good. Ace has been scared to go close to Ruby, but he won't admit it.

"H-hi Ruby" he said in a nervous tone," how come you are such a g-great hunter" he asked.

"Well thank you. Thanks to Timber and Balto and my powers, I am this good at hunting" Ruby replied.

"Balto" Ace asked," he is not a trainer.

"He is my Dad. He taught me a few tricks" Ruby said.

"What is your power" Ace tried to sound confident.

"My power is about hunting and animals. I can speak to any animal and when I am hunting I have superspeed" she answered.

     Ace left their conversation and taught us how to do it. Ace was HORRIBLE at giving directions. We tried to understand him, but we couldn't. Then finally, Ace showed us how to do it.

"Guys! Is this normal" Artemis asked. We turned around to look at her, she was running really fast.

"Artemis I think we just figured out your power" Night shouted.

"Artemis your turn" I said.

     Artemis went up to Comet. Comet is our Dad's favorite warrior's son. He is our age and Artemis has a crush on him." H-hi" she squealed, " What are you doing here" she asked.

He looked a bit puzzled, " This is my pack" he said," I am supposed to be here."

Artemis looked embarrassed, " What powers do you have" she asked randomly.

" Well...I can control fire and um... whenever I get angry my fur lights up on fire" he looked down. I can tell that he was embarrassed. I had to break the conversation.

" Artemis, Mom is calling you" I said.

Artemis looked up and ran. Once we were out of Comet's, sight we stopped. Artemis said,"Time to practice."

  We tried to control fire. We slapped each other so we can get angry. It wasn't working. We tried and tried and tried. None of us got on fire or controlled it.

"So I guess it is my turn" I said. I walked up to Star. Star is my favorite hunter." Hi Star " I said excitedly, "What makes you a great hunter" I asked.

"Hello Snow! What makes me such a great hunter? Well...um...I guess my powers" she responded.

" What are your powers " I asked.

"I can control the heat and light" she explained how she did it.

"Thanks" I shouted as I ran to the hideout.

     I showed my siblings how she did it. We tried to control it with our paws, we looked like Jedi trying to use the force. Then we tried to control it using our minds. That didn't work either.
