I'm at school, sitting with a group of my friends having lunch. A chocolate cake, chips, a ham and cheese roll, Lamingtons and a finger bun, oh and I have some grapes. Now this probably sounds like a large person's lunch, or at least a normal size people's lunch. Or maybe even a person with diabetes. But no, this is based on a true story of a struggling skinny girl.
"Oh my gosh Stacey, you eat a lot, and soo unhealthy" My 'friends' keep telling me. "How do you stay so skinny? If I had one of those thing I would gain a kilo."
"I guess I just have a fast metabolism?" I didnt't really think about what I eat, as long as it is tasty. And as far as I am concerned cake is tasty.
"You are going to get fat when it slows down, you should really stop eating that unhealthily." They all looked at me disapprovingly.
I didn't care, I was happy and my life was good.
"How about, if you eat healthy for a whole week I will bake you a tray of brownies?" One of my friends Ashley said.
"I'm ok, but thanks for the offer, could you still make me those brownies though?" I laughed.
Little did I know is that these conversations would haunt me for the rest of my life.
