The Midnight Zone

Chapter 5: Valon and Moria

     Valon was Clara's big brother. He had green eyes, dark black hair, and a pearly white smile that would hardly ever go away. He was always with his girlfriend Moria. Moria was Gavin's big sister. She had blue eyes, long brown hair, and a positive attitude.

     "Gahhh!" Valon cried in pain.

     "Valon, what's wrong?" Moria asked him.

     "It's Clara and Gavin! They've been kidnapped by General Shadowblade!" Valon cried.

     "Oh no, what do we do?" she asked.

     "You go after them of course. After all, they are your brother and sister." said a voice.

     'Yes my king." they said in unison. "Teleportes Earth." they chanted. A beam of silver light wrapped around them and they both held each others hand. When they got to Earth they were standing right where Clara and Gavin were taken. Then the Shadow Wolf jumps out and Valon is ready of a fight.

     "No stop, wait." Moria ordered. "My brother tamed him."

     "How can you be so sure?" he asked.

     "I'm the Moonmage remember? I can sense what my little brother does." she answered. They look around and saw arrows strewn about. And they saw huge sword gashes on the tress. The last thing they saw was a huge black burn mark in the center of the forest. "They were obviously here, and by the looks of it they were fighting the Archers of the Shadow Castle and the swordsmen." Moria stated.

     "It also looks like Gavin's been showing Clara some of her magic." Valon observed. Valon and Moria knew about Gavin's little secret. But, the one thing they know that he doesn't, is if he uses the Sunweavers magic to often, instead of his own, he will lose all of his magic, his immortality and eventually die!

     "We need to get to the Midnight Zone and warn Gavin to only use his magic. Only the Moonmage can use both Sunweaver and Moonbender magic." Moria explained.

     "Hooowwwwwwrrrrrrrrr!" the noise echoed through the woods. Then suddenly, a pack of Shadow Wolves surrounded them. Valon looked around and saw no area to escape.

     "We're surrounded we have to fight." he told Moria. They then chanted: "Battales tranformes!" A light engulfed them both. Valon was changed into battle armor and his helmet was studded with gold and it covered most of his face. He wore gauntlets and greaves. He had a sword at his waist and the hilt was studded with white diamonds. Finally came his shield, it was gold with silver pearls and had a sun on the front of it. Valon became.... The Sun Warrior!

     Moria was changed into blue robes and her hood was covered with swirls. her face mask covered her face up to her eyes. She had blue footings and they were covered with stars. her staff was straight with a swirl in the wood from top to bottom. The top of her staff had a crescent shaped moon and it was studded with silver diamonds and was glowing blue. Moria became.... The Moonmage!

     "We have to create a diversion and strike them from behind!" Moria yelled. She chanted: "Darknesso shadow hazeo!" A thick black smoke covered the area and within seconds the Shadow Wolves were gone.

     "We have to get to the Midnight Zone!" Valon yelled.
