Chapter 23

Time passed and everyone fell into the same routine. Wake up, Team A returns from night shift,eat breakfast, Team B leaves for day shift, train, eat lunch, check out city, Team B returns, eat dinner, Team A leaves for night shift, go to bed. Team A being Tony, Vision, Thor, Pietro, Bucky  and Team B being Steve, Wanda, Natasha, Clint, Sam, Loki. Bruce and Izzy stay at the house and took turns monitoring the city cameras  which Izzy hacked into without the cities permission. They ,sorta kinda , had everything figured out, or so they though. But two weeks without results was something no body liked.

"We are getting NO WHERE" Tony said storming into the office where the monitor were set up , Izzy was on duty, Steve and Loki following him, "what's going on" Izzy said startled by Tony

"face the Facts sweetheart your friend gave up bad intel.  We've been here two weeks with no results running around the city. I don't know about the rest of you guys but I'm done here. I'm going home tomorrow" Tony said throwing his hands up in defeat

"You just have to be a l-little more patient" Izzy said

"Tony's right we're wasting time here. She hasn't shown up.We need to start looking else where" Steve said his voice much more gentle than Tony's

"Diaval said she'd be here .So she'll be here"

Diaval had never lied to Izzy before she'd never doubt his so she wasn't going to start doubt him today. All their years together Diaval was always right. So if he said she be here then god damn she'd be there.

"Their right, love, time is being wasted" Loki said but he'd known he'd done wrong when the look of betray crossed her face " that's why I propose an idea. How about we split the team half stay here half goes off to look somewhere else"

"why can't you just be patient" Izzy pouted 

"because there's more to do other threats, sweetheart" Steve said stepping forward closer to Izzy but she stepped around him and left the room Steve signed.

"wait isn't she suppose to be watching the monitors" Tony asked 

"Not it" Loki and Steve said in union 

"you guys are asshats"

"Darling " Loki called as he entered their room she was sitting on their bed reading a book while making gestures with her hands "Darling?"  he sat on the bed next to her "look" she whispered and handle her hands in front of his face  as a faint blue left her finger tips "I don't know how but Diaval knew I still had magic. I thought she took it all. I spent years grieving over it , I had it all a long." Izzy said as she admired the faint magic that left her finger tips  Loki showed her his hands as a faint green  took hold of her hands a new color left their hands

" Blue-green" Izzy giggled

" Cyan" Loki corrected.

Izzy giggled as the magic left her hands Loki smiled he leaned in and took her lips they both leaned back falling into the bed. " How does someone like you stay innocent  all those years ?" he asked kissing her jaw "three words Diaval, Logan , and Victor" she said Loki looked up real quick "I was always with them they took care of me tried to stop me from doing bad things. I remember when they found out I sign up to be a nurse in world war two to this day Victor throws me shade he didn't want me to see any of that I remember them stuffing me in the closet they day the train came. I still went to war though they just didn't know" Izzy said  " Well I appreciate them keeping you save but I'm here now... and nothing is going to happen to you now" Loki kissed her nose  "well that doesn't sound like any fun" Loki chuckled as he snuggled into her neck "Sorry love but I have to keep you save". Loki's kisses travel from her to lips to shoulders as she giggled to herself Loki was indeed going to keep her save.

After the small make out section with Loki Izzy went back down Stairs to release Tony of her duties and apologies. "it's okay" Tony said when she open her mouth " you care for her. I don't know why, but you do. we all want to get this done and over with as much as you"

"But you don't understand I don't know if I can put her down again and I don't want to hurt her. I want to save her"

"but ...you want to save everyone else to. Don't worry you're smart that's why old and wise you'll find a solution in the end. You might not like it but you'll find it" Tony pat her on the back

" she was kind of like you" Izzy said" she thought she knew everything , and she did, she was sick and she didn't ask for help instead of finding a cure she trained me to stop her. If you get sick Tony you'll ask for help, right?"

" I already did , get sick that is, and no I didn't ask for help tried to fix it myself. Fortunately for me when it got to much a mean man dressed in all black came to my aid and pulled some medicine out of his trench coat. I didn't ask for help but help came any ways" Tony said " Vita isn't begging to be saved I bet you'll save her anyways. But first you got to find her" Tony said kissing her forehead and leaving her determination  to look. His last thought being she save her even if she doesn't want it.

After Tony the determination died down to boredom watching boring people doing boring things. A kid picking his nose and wiping it on his mother. A woman tripping of her own feet then getting but like it didn't happen. A waiter sneezing on some food then serving it. A woman picking her nose then wiping it on her dates coat. A man getting beat up for stealing a woman's wallet. A Mother obviously rethink about parenthood. A father not paying attention his son eating sand. Things average people do you know like walking against traffic.

Wait what?!

" I FOUND HER SHE'S HERE SHE'S  HERE" Izzy screams as she does a double take the women walking against traffic was indeed Vita. Rushing up Izzy informs the rest of the team " SHE'S HERE SHE'S HERE" she screams  running to the living room  to find most if the team 

"alright it's games time" Bucky says 

"Avengers suit up" Steve said 

"actually it assemble"
