4 - Cover Up Won't Let It Show

Demi's Pov.

I seriously didn't get it. I felt like Maddie's voice was a little raspy. Why? I cannot understand. Is she suffering? No,she can't be. Maddie is strong,plus,why would she. She doesn't even go to school. I know those haters might bring her down,but there's only a few. I bet they are all the same person with tons of accounts. Nobody could hate an angel like Maddie. I love her. We all love her.

Today I'm traveling to Nashville Tennessee,to perform the concert for my Lovatics. The day after that will be the last. So glad. I mean....I love touring but..it gets out of control. I feel like my life is out of control and I need to get it back in control.

I'm heading to Maddie's hotel room to pick her up,for the flight. I knocked on her door,hearing a little gasp,"Who is it?!" Maddie said with a scared tone, "Madison,it's just Demi." I laughed. "Okay...I'm coming..let me just..um..get dressed. I'm changing right now." she said, I smiled, "Alright,beautiful."

Maddie's Pov.

I picked up the blade again,I know I hate cutting,but I had to do it. It just....relieved me. More than anything I can possibly think of. Right in the middle of making my third cut,I heard a knock on the door. I gasped,not knowing what to do.

"Who is it?!" I asked,scared. "Madison,it's just Demi." the person said. Oh,it's Demi. Shit. Shit. Shit!! I had to make up some kind of lie, "Okay...I'm coming..let me just..um..get dressed. I'm changing right now." I blurted out. "Alright,beautiful." Demi said.

Haha. Beautiful. What a joke. I'm the ugliest creature on earth.

I cleaned up everything,got dressed really fast,then opened the door. "Maddie! Finally you come out of there. Did you pack everything yet? We're going to the Airport in fifteen minutes." Demi looked at me, "Yup,I got everything." I pointed to my suitcase. "Okay good,Madison." Demi glanced at her watch,"Time to go!" She smiled big,I took my suitcase and started pulling it.

"Please put your belt on,we are landing." the pilot announced. Thank god. It was over. The plane lowered itself and we landed within two minutes.

Okay,this is one of the last shows...I can do this...Stay strong Maddie...don't kill yourself just yet.

"HELLO NASHVILLE!" I shouted and started singing. Demi sang with me. Her voice was beautiful, and what was mine? Raspy. I hope she doesn't notice.

"GOODNIGHT NASHVILLE!" I fake smiled and walked off stage. What a day.
