Olivia kicked another can on the side of the road. She held her arms as a particularly cold wind flew by. Her white and purple skin tight jumpsuit was not helping her cause at all. She signed, watching as her breath materialized before her in a small white cloud.

It only supported the fact that her life was going downhill. "I'm going to freeze out here!" She yelled. "I have a solution for that, sweet thing." Someone cooed. Olivia narrowed her eyes. This would be the third creep she'd have to take out today. However, it would be the eighteenth one this week. She growled and whipped around to face a drunk gang member with a purple dragon tattoo on his right arm.

Olivia balled up her fist. "If you don't back up now, I'll be forced to rearrange your face." She hissed. "You must be the cute girl that none of the other Purple Dragons has been able to have fun with." He drawled. Olivia rolled her eyes. "I'll give you one last chance. Back off." She seethed. "Awe c'omon." He pleaded.

Without a second thought, she punched him the the face, wincing at the crack she heard afterward. Suddenly, she was grabbed from behind and slammed to the ground. It cracked beneath her. She winced as her head hit the concrete. "C'omon girly. Make this easy for us." one of the new gang members said making his way toward her. Olivia spit out blood and narrowed her eyes. "You wish." She hissed."

She pushed herself to her feet and punched him in the jaw, but not hard enough to shatter it. He fell down, with a thud. His companions advanced toward Olivia, scowls on their faces. She could tell they were done with games. And she was fine with that. One tried to punch her, but she dodged, kicking him square in the stomach. Another grabbed her arm, and she used her free arm to elbow him in the face. Another attempted to throw a punch, but she grabbed his fist and twisted it. He yelled out in pain, collapsing onto the floor.

Olivia smirked, dusting off her hands dramatically. "And that's how it's done." She said. "Wow. She's good." Someone mumbled swiftly followed by three voices hissing the words "Hush Mikey!" Olivia looked around and furrowed her brow. "Um... Hello?" She said, looking around. "Great. She heard us." Olivia raised a brow. "Duh. I hear you. You guys are practically yelling."

"Dang. She's a smart alec." Olivia gasped. "Says the guy hiding in the shadows stalking a poor teenage girl in the middle of the night." A scoff was heard. Then silence. "Come out so I can kick your butts properly." Olivia threatened. "You sure you want that Olivia?" A familiar voice asked. "I mean, I do have fifteen years of intense ninjitzu experience under my belt." A small smile rose to Olivia's face.

"Leo?" As if on que, he lept from the building edge before her, wearing his perfect smile. "Hey Liv." Three other turtles landed behind them. Olivia raised her eyebrow, inspecting them all. There was a tall one with russet eyes surrounded by a purple bandana. He cracked a nervous smile, revealing a gap in his front teeth.

The one behind him had an orange bandana that covered his baby blue eyes. He gave her a wide grin that made his freckles more adorable on his face. The last one had electric green eyes and a red bandana. Their tattered tails told her he'd had his fair share of fights. Olivia mentally reminded herself to stay away from his bad side.

"Who are they?" She asked eyeing the other three teripens suspiciously. Leo smiled "These are my brothers, Raph, Donnie, and Mikey." he said, pointing to each as he said their name. Donnie smiled while Raph simply grunted. Mikey was the most energetic. He lept up and crushed Olivia in a hug.

"Hey dudette. I can tell we're going to be best friends." Olivia smiled hugging him back. Her smile soon melted as she realized something. "Why were you guys watching me?" She asked. "Well, we weren't watching you in particular." Donnie said. "We were just on patrol." Raph clarified.

"It's was Leo's idea. He said he met you last night and he wanted to make sure you got home safely." Mikey blurted out. "Mikey!!!!!" Leo hisses. Olivia giggles. "But in all honesty," Leo began. "What were you doing out here in the middle of the night? By yourself. It's almost morning. Do your parents really let you out this late?" Olivia looked down at her feet. "No." "Then why are you out here?"

Olivia sighed. "Because I have no parents." Leo's eyes widened and grew a sympathetic look. "Sorry... I... I didn't know." Olivia shrugged. "It's fine." Leo looked her over. She was all alone. It was... Sad really. She had no one. "How would you like to live with me and my brothers?" Olivia looked up with wide eyes. "You mean it?"

Leo smiled. He felt a strange urge to keep her safe. He looked into her eyes. They shined so bright. He wanted to save that light.

"Yes. I mean it."
