Today, I'm not gonna write about a folktale. I'm gonna write this, so that you guys won't get confused in some stories. Sometimes, I'll do this, and while sometimes, I'll write some stories. I will only list 15 yokai(s) here, cause there are a lot! Okay! onto the list!
1. Abumi-Guchi
-This yokai is a furry creature, that is made by some stirrup made by the military.
2.Abura-Akagao
-This yokai is an infant ghost who licks the oil out of andon lamps.
3. Abura-sumashi
- A spirit with a large head who lives on a mountain pass in Kumamoto Prefecture.
4. Akabeko
- A red cow involved in the construction of Enzo-ji in Yanaizu, Fukushima.
5. Akaname
- A spirit that licks off filth in untidy bathrooms.
6. Akashita
- A creature that looms in a black cloud over a floodgate.
7. Akateko
- A red hand dangling out of a tree.
8. Akkorokamui
- An Ainu monster resembling a fish or octopus.
9. Akurojin-no-hi
- A ghostly fire from Mie Prefecture.
10. Amabie
- A japanese mermaid yokai.
11. Amanozako
- A monstrous goddess mentioned in the "Kujiki"
12. Amaterasu
- A sun goddess
13. Aonyobo
- A female ghost who lurks in an abandoned imperial palace.
14. Ashimagari
- A spirit which entangles the legs of travellers.
15. Aobozu
-The blue monk who kidnaps children.
