Hello, everyone!~ How are you all today?
I have mentioned in previous chapters that I might be uploading a second part of the Yokai List!
For those who do not know what the word "Yokai (妖怪)" means, I will explain. In simple words, a Yokai is an apparition that exists in Japanese Mythology. It also is mentioned in some folktales.
Do you understand now? Let's begin with the list!
#1 Bakeneko - a shape-shifting cat
#2 Baku (Spirit) - supernatural beings that devour dreams and nightmares
#3 Bashōnosei - Banana tree spirit
#4 Enenra - a monster made of smoke
#5 Fūjin - a wind god
#6 Furutsubaki no rei - a soul-sucking plant
#7 Gaki - Starving ghosts of especially greedy people.
#8 Hakanohi - a fire which lights up graves
#9 Harionago - A woman with a thorn-like barb on the tip of each strand of her hair. ( + her hair must be difficult to wash/brush)
#10 Hibagon - the Japanese version of Bigfoot or Yeti
#11 Hiyoribō - a spirit that stops rainfall
#12 Issie - a lake monster
#13 Iyaya - A woman who has a face that is reflected as an old man
#14 Jami - a wicked mountain spirit
#15 Kanedama - a spirit that carries money
That ends the Yokai list for today!
Thank you for reading, everyone! Hope you have a great week!
I am still quite busy with work, but I will try my best to upload. If I my schedule is too busy, I might have to delay uploads.
+ Thank you again for voting, commenting, and placing this book in your reading lists! I am grateful ^^
+ + Which yokai do you guys like?
+ + + #9's hair must've hurt when she accidentally flips it on to someone's face-
See you in the next chapter,
- Elizabeth
