Chapter 6: Counselor's office

Cameron sat in her office staring at a note on her table that had been left for her by Zechariah, he wasn't exactly the type to leave notes normally he'd just rather talk in person, she picked it up and unfolded it about to read it but her hand got snagged on a....a string? There was a string attached to the letter as she looked up she a dark figure in the corner "wh-

That's not supposed to be there :)

Cameron sat in her office staring at a note on her table that had been left for her by Zechariah, he wasn't exactly the type to leave notes normally he'd just rather talk in person, she picked it up and unfolded it about to read it but herattention snapped from the note to her door as it was open and Jack walked in "Hi Ms.Walden I'm here for my session" he said stopping "d-did I interrupt something?" he said seeing that she was reading something "No no it's fine Jack I guess I just lost track of time, please sit down" she said setting the note down although Cameron was calm she did have the smallest tinge of fear after hearing the incident and what Jack had done. Jack sat down in the purple beanbag "So Jack, anything wrong?" it was a stupid question to Cameron, she knew that Jack was disturbed by the incident, but personally she wanted to hear what happened because how that demon ended up didn't seem like something Jack would do "well I'm sure you heard about the incident that happened about a week ago..." he said turning away with a sad frown "Jack if this is a subject you don't feel extremely comfortable about we don't have to talk about it" Cameron said worriedly ".....no I just...I have to talk about this...." Jack said "alright then, what happened leading up to 'that'" Cameron said ready to listen "...you remember Jill?" Cameron nodded "well a week prior she came over since her boyfriend Drake had broken up with her and she was upset so Satan gave her some time off work and it was going nice since she came over and I even took her on a date and showed her the peace fish since she had never seen them......that was the night it happened, we were walking back home after the date and saw the door was open so we rushed in only to find my mom knocked out and Drake there, Drake tried to get Jill to come back with him to hell but she refused and for some reason Drake won and he began beating her then was about to take her and..." he began to shake at the memory "I remembered the first time I had met Jill and I thought 'I can't just stand here, she saved me so now it's my turn to save her' so I got up and the rage of knowing Drake hurt my mom, the rage of everything that had ever happened to me, and the rage of seeing what he had done to Jill and how he acted towards her boiled inside of me and I just let it all out and lost control..." he was now shaking remembering the events that had occurred "I-It was like I used my curse of bad luck against him, but what scared me most was that I didn't feel anything when I ripped him apart I felt no remorse, no regret, no fear, only the urge to make him suffer for what he did...and then I ripped him apart" tears were going down Jack's cheeks as he screamed "I'M A MONSTER" but he looked up when he felt Cameron's hand on her shoulder after she got up from her chair and walked around her desk to him "I know you feel ashamed of what you did Jack but you have to understand it was justified, he broke into your home, hurt your mother, then almost killed Jill, Jack you aren't a monster I can tell by the way you are, you just got a bit out of control and that's fine, it happens to alot of us" she said smiling "cheer up, I'm sure Jill doesn't think you're bad, nor do your friends" Jack stared at her and hugged her "th-thank you Ms.Walden" he said and Cameron patted his back.

After a while Jack left and walked out the school waiting seeing Jill sitting on a bench outside waiting for him "oh hey Jack!" she said spotting him and got up then ran over and hugged him tightly which broke his arm "oh sorry!" she said letting go and checking his arm "I-I'm fine, really" he said as his arm snapped itself back into place "how are your wounds doing?" he said putting a hand on the gauze she had wrapped around her chest "they're hurting less every day" she said and a small giggle escaped her "though I don't know if you should be touching my chest, that's restricted area" Jack's face turned red as a cherry as he realized "o-oh my gosh I'm so sorry! I didn't-" but he was cut off as Jill connected her lips to his and he was taken off guard for a second but began kissing back and when they broke Jill giggled once more "It's alright, you're my boyfriend now remember? you've got special access~" she said winking and now Jack was covering his face that could not have gotten any redder. Jill laughed "you're so cute when you blush" she said as they began walking home.

(hey guys so that was Chapter 6 I'm sorry I was gone for so long I just couldn't write for the past few days but here it is and as a reward to you readers for being so patient here's a continuation of what that letter Zech left for Cameron was....*possible ZechariahXCameron intensifies*)

After Jack had left Cameron sat down and picked up the note then began to read it

Dear Cameron,

I'm sorry I couldn't speak to you directly about this matter but a nearby restaurant has recently opened up and I happen to know the owner, he's a good friend of mine and he says that he wants me to come over for free with a date, now normally I don't do these type of things but I didn't want to discourage him so I'm asking if you wanted to go with me there this Saturday?

Cameron just stared at the note for a second while a huge blush enveloped her face, did Zechariah just ask her on a date?! Also was that a blood stain on the note? Wait what was she thinking about again? Anyways she stared at the note and read it over about three times as though to make sure she read it correctly, she put it down and thought for a second 'do I want to do this? I mean I've only known him for a little while, ah what am I thinking? it's just as friends right?' her mind seemed to be racing but she leaned back and relaxed for a second 'maybe It'll be nice, he's a very respectable per- erm cheetah and he comforted me when I first got here and was terrified' she thought on this for a second and sighed, she did have a small crush on him but it was something she just ignored for the most part but for now she decided to just clear her Saturday and see what would happen.
