"Thanks for picking up my shift that one day." Jason says as I walk into work.

"Well of course. How was date night?" I say as I clock in.

"Great. She was really happy. I want you to meet her. She said she wanted to thank you."

"I finally get to meet this mysterious girlfriend of yours."

He laughs. I smile.

"By the way. Could you pick up my night shift tomorrow?" I ask.

"Sure."

I smile. "Thank you."

He gives me a curious smile. "You usually don't take off work. Who is the special guy?!"

"Get to work. You're gonna get me in trouble."

"Fine."

He walks away. I smile and shake my head. As I take my spot at the cash register.

I hear the door open. "Hi how may I help you?" I say before looking up.

"Kyle wanted pizza." I hear someone say.

I look up and see Ian with his friends.

"This time I did want pizza, but I also mentioned other places and he said no until I said this place." Kyle says.

"Luke seems to be just an innocent bystander of you guys." I say.

"That's usually the case." Luke says. "I'm just here and support whatever they do."

"Are you and him the only two workers?" Ian says.

"Is this him?" Jason yells from the back.

"No, but we usually work together. He helped me get a job here." I say, answering Ian's question. Ignoring Jason's.

"That's a yes!".

"How do you know him?" Ian ask.

"Jealous?" I smirk.

"I just wanted a pizza." Kyle says.

I laugh. "Okay. Order before I get in trouble."

They order what they want. Two pepperoni pizzas and two drinks. I put it in.

"Alright your total is 20$"

"Can't even get your boyfriend free pizza?" Kyle ask, pulling out his wallet.

"Nope. Won't give his friends any either."

"Why are we dating then?" Ian ask as Kyle hands me his card.

"Because you wouldn't leave me alone." I swipe Kyle's card and hand it back.

"Is that the only reason?" Ian ask.

"I'm hoping when we break up you'll leave me alone."

He laughs. "Well that's to bad. Not happening princess. You're not allowed to leave me."

"You're gonna get me in trouble." I say.

"Who's watching?"

"My managers."

"How?"

"Cameras."

I walk away and go to the back. Ian and his buddies find a random seat in the lobby.

"Is it ready?" I ask the person who makes the pizza.

I start folding the pizza boxes.

"Nope. Gotta put the sauce and everything on it. It's not ready."
