Chapter 21

I see him walk in and sit across from me.

"Make it quick."

"242,800. Ill get the rest myself." I say.

"No."

"Please I really need this!" I say.

"Cazey. I don't consider you my daughter. I have a new family."

I get up. I kneel down beside him.

"I'm begging you... Please help me... I'll never contact you again... Just please give me this money. I'll leave your life forever. Just please help me."

"I only loan money to family."

I stay there. "100,000" I say.

"Get away from me. You're annoying."

"Please!" I yell. Tears filling my eyes. "Please..."

"You're shameless." He says.

He gets up. "I'll loan you 50,000. But you have to pay me back. Also. Never contact me again. Ill contact you to give you the money."

I sigh. I get up. I check the time. 8:30... I get in my car. Driving off to work.

"My dad said he'll loan 50,000" I say. "We have 57,200 now. That's not including how much Opal and Jen have... Maybe Ian." I say. "If they even loan us anything."

"I don't wanna tell Lisa... She'll hate me... She might break up with me." He says.

"To be honest. Maybe that'll be best." I say. "Maybe he'll leave her alone if you hate her."

"I can't believe he actually bugged us... That's just creepy." He says.

I laugh. "I'm not surprised."

A customer walks up. I look at him.

"You look familiar." He says. He thinks. "I know... You were at the hospital. You're like my stepsister or something like that." He says.

"He doesn't consider me a daughter... So... I'm just an annoying little girl who keeps bothering him."

"Not true. When he got back in the car he looked really sad... What happened?"

"Nothing you need to involve yourself with. It's best if you stay away." I say. "What can I get for you?"

Where did he even put the bug? He didn't really touch me... I start thinking... This is annoying. Even if it's on my car. He wouldn't of been able to know I told Jen and Opal. Unless... He bugged them...  He did. He said he bugged them. Maybe it's... It's in our rooms...

I continue putting this dude order in. Did he really bug our rooms? That would mean... Everything I say outside my room... No he heard me ask my dad. Maybe he's hacking our phones... But Jason and I put our phones away. That day I wasn't touched. The things he could've bugged without me knowing isn't around me. If it was something else. It mightve been the bracelet. But I lost it. I wonder where I'm bugged at. 

I complete the transaction and look at Jason.

"What do you think he bugged on me?" I ask Jason.

He shrugs.

"He didn't touch me that day."

"So you mean... Its not on your body." He says.

"I dont think so."

"So... He might not hear you."

"We probably shouldn't take our chances, but there's a possibility."
