It was currently one in the morning, and Mark was asleep next to me in the passenger seat, while Eli slept on the two backseats as I drove on towards Nashville, Tennessee. Towards my best friend. I had the radio on today's pop, and thankfully, it was keeping me awake. But inside I was very jealous of the boys sleeping. Telling myself to drive and wait one more hour, I took a sip of my Dr.Pepper and sighed.
"You got this Cals." I reassured myself. One Direction came on, and smiling, I turned the radio up just a little louder and sang along to the lyrics of Little Things. Once the song finished and some rap came on, I shut the radio off and just focused on the road.
"You've got a beautiful voice Cals." Mark said from beside me, making me jump a little.
"Oh good Lord, you scared me." I confessed to him. "How long were you listening?"
"Well when you turned the volume up, I woke."
"Oh. I'm sorry. I'm done for now. You can go back to sleep now." Mark nodded and grinned.
"Your fine."
It was silent for a while until I put my blinker on to get into the left lane.
"Fast lane yeah?" He asked. I looked over and laughed a little.
"Yeah. Quicker I am, the quicker we get there right?"
"Do you think she'll still like..feel the same about me Callie?" Mark asked out of no where. He looked greatly concerned and anxious at my answer. Wondering what I would say.
"Mark I-"
"You can say you don't know. I mean, what if she never truly meant anything she said back there? She didn't call Tristan for no reason." So that's what was bothering him. Tristan. Mark was worried Esther had found a new guy and replaced him even after there apologies.
"Mark. Dude, listen. Esther and you are by far one of the cutest couples I've seen in a long time."
"Hey. That's offensive. We're pretty darn cute Cal." Eli mumbled sleepily from the back making me giggle and blush.
"Anyway." I said turning back quickly and winking and Eli who grinned sleepishly, "You two have to learn to trust one another. Relationships don't come easy all the time, and this one defiantly isn't an exception. I'm sure she still has feelings for you, cause she has to know how much you love her. I mean, I even know how much you love her. Okay? Things will be just fine. Promise." I told Mark, hopefully boosting his self esteem. He nodded then thanked me for the advice and help.

"I'm telling you if you do not get in that lane right now we are going to be an hour more from her! Now pull over Eli!" I yelled at my boyfriend who was currently arguing with me, the person holding the map, on which way to turn. He claimed he had once been to Nashville and knew where he was going, but I wasn't taking any chances.
"Oh God. Fine Callie." He said and jerked the car to the lane I wanted us to be in. Sighing, I flopped back into my seat and covered my face with the map.
"Gosh you too, I've never seen you fight like that." Mark commented from the back. Picking my map up, I flung it at him and Eli and I both yelled at the same time.
"Mark! Nobody cares!" As soon as we noticed our synchronization, we looked to each other and broke out laughing. Mark flung his hands up and looked out the window.
"Aren't we there yet?"
"We get there when we get there Laker." Eli said while turning the radio on. Imagine Dragon's Radioactive came on and I sang along.
