One shot~ Garroth x Shadowknight!Reader

You stumbled through the portal, it closing behind you. It dissapeared and you fell to the ground in a heap.

"I-I finally escaped" you mumbled every thing sore from escaping.

You heard a shout and before you knew it three familar heads appeared.

"Y/N! Y-you came back!" Aphmau cried.

Laurence froze a look of horror in his eyes. He knew what happened to you.

You only managed to look up, your eyes catching on azure blues before you passed out.

"Garroth  . . . . . . a shadow knight."

The voices were fuzzy not really clear and you strained to make sense of anything

"W-what?"

It became clearer as a familiar deep voice shocked you with the vulnerability you heard in it.

"They turned her in the nether . . . I'm sorry Garroth."

The voices finally became clear and you heard Laurence sigh sadly

Heavy footsteps sounded indicating Laurence had left.

There was a shuddering breath to your left and you realized it was Garroth.

His hand took yours and you relished the soft warmth it gave.

You struggled to will yourself to wake up to see something other than the darkness that had tainted you.

"I love you you Y/N" he mumbled his normally deep voice distraught with emotion.

You struggled to open your eyes and finally slowly opened them. You blinked the sight startling you.

Garroth was leaning over you crying with one hand against his head, the other holding yours.

"G-garroth?" You stammered

His head shot up and he stared at you, eyes open in shock. His face was red from crying, and his eyes a blue mess from tears.

He was a beautiful wreck.

It suddenly hit you, what Laurence was saying, and you broke down.

Garroth immedietly pulled you close, and held you as if he never wanted to let you go.

You sobbed into him, your fists curling into his shirt.

"They turned me into a shadow knight! I didn't want this!" You whimpered

He comforted you rubbing slow circles on your back. You cried out eventually wrapping your arms around his neck.

He pulled you into his lap. He began stroking your hair and finally you started to calm down.

"I-Im sorry Garroth" you whispered.

"For what Y/n?" He asked gently.

"I-its my fault I'm like this" You cried curling in on yourself.

You were roughly pulled up knocking you out of your daze.

"Dont ever say that!" Garroth told you sternly blue orbs gazing into yours.

You nodded but still fell against him exausted with all the crying.

He fell back against the foot of the bed and soon you were fast asleep a peaceful look on your face.

He didn't have the heart to move you and eventually, he too, fell asleep.

When Laurence and Aphmau found you two in the morning you were curled up on his chest with his arms wrapped around your waist. You had your arms wrapped around his torso as well.

As if neither of you wanted to let go.

I would say this is pretty good. I just thought of you turning into a Shadow knight and Garroth comforting you. My fav part to write was the end position when they fell asleep. It was such a cute image in my head!
