Thousand Years. (Garroth)

I've watched for a thousand years.

"GARROTH!!" A young woman's scream tore through the clearing.

"Me . . it was supposed to be me . ." a broken voice whispered

I watched them from the moment I was born. I don't know why I became like this . . . But I did.

"Aaron . . H-He's gone . . My best friend is gone . ."

Aaron stared wordlessly at where the Irene portal had been.

"He wasn't meant to die" he whispered bowing his head in shame.

I wished Aaron didnt blame himself . . . But He got over it . .

"Aaron . . . You can't keep blaming yourself" she whispered.

"I know . . . but . . . I keep feeling this guilt . ." He whispered back staring down at the ground

"Aaron . . . Garroth . . died saving you . . dont let it be for nothing" Aphmau replied looking up at him sadly.

"Please Aaron . . . Move on for her" Garroth said softly standing in front of him.

"I know . . I wont I promise" he sighed taking her in his arms. Garroth smiled from the sight.

He finally started a family with Aphmau . . .

"Lillith and Alina! Get back here" Aaron yelled desperately chasing after the two little girls.

Garroth simply smiled invisible in the corner. He chuckled watching them run by with their father chasing.

Aphmau giggled from in the kitchen where she was making dinner.

Years passed and I watched over Levin and Malachai and the others . . . They all led such full lives . . .

"Ohhhh Malachi! I CANT BELIEVE YOUR GETTING MARRIED" Aphmau cried hugging the now taller man.

She started crying and the boy smiled patting his mom on the back.

"I'll be fine mom . . . " Malachi chuckled.

"I cant believe my older brother is finally getting married" Levin chuckled

"Bout time he joined us"" Aaron laughed grinning.

Garroth laughed with them standing next to them. They still didnt see him but he didnt care.

Then I found myself here.

"Zianna! You did great honey" the man spoke smiling down at his wife with glassy eyes.

"Oh! Don't cry Garte, you'll make me start!" the woman laughed her eyes starting to match those of her husbands.

He laughed wiping his eyes and staring down at the little bundle.

"I just can't help it! He's so beautiful Zianna" he whispered.

Garroth looked up curiously from the corner. He had watched over his little brothers family for century's now.
