So the other day I was at the station with Lt. Lacey when we were dispatched to a fractured wrist from a bike wreck. Well we took off and once we got close we had some kids pointing down a very steep ally to a bike path. Well Lacey decided that we were just going to drive down this narrow bike path till we could not go any further. So we finally get to the bottom of the path were it makes a hard left and we have to stop. There is no room for the ambulance anymore to get through. there is a mountain face on one side and cliff on the other. We get out Pt loaded and so now Lt. Lacey has to back her way back out of this little caper. I must say I was very impressed that not only did we get out of there without scratching the truck, but she did it while backing out completely onto the main road. Once we got done I mentioned how impressed I was with her driving skills, she said, "Sometimes you just have to go for it and if you hit something oh well"
