"I'm sorry what?" Santana asked after she spat out her lunch.

"On Friday night, Finn and I, you know. Done the deed" I continued while pulling out my water bottle from my bag.

"Lynsey, today is Monday. How come you didn't call us like straight after?" Brittany asked.

"Because he spent the night" I said and the pair squealed causing a few other Cheerios to turn their heads. "Shh, people are looking"

"So that explains why lumps McGee left me in that motel room" Santana said before taking another bite of her lunch. "So how was it anyway?" She asked.

"It was good but, I don't know, I think I regret it" I said and took a sip of my water. "I think he's in love with Rachel but you know it's fine. She's pretty, I guess" I added while trying to hold back tears as I felt Brittany put her hand on my shoulder.

"No no Hobbit is not getting the best of you, okay? You and Finn are more than just fuck buddies, alright?" Santana said assertively while pointing at me with a fork. I giggled at the girl and Brittany thankfully changed the subject to her cat - Lord Tubbington.

It was the end of glee practice and I was packing my sheet music in my bag before Mr Shue stopped us from leaving.

"Um, all right, I have one final announcement before we all leave." Mr Shue said to gain our attention. "We can't use the auditorium for the next week."

"But that's garbage." Finn said angrily and I just rolled my eyes. "How are we supposed to practice for regionals without the auditorium?"

"The Cheerios need it to practice in." Mr Shue answered the angry teen which meant I was met with Finn's angry eyes.

"There's nothing I can do Frankenteen" I said to the boy.

"I recommend a sit-in."
" I recommend we torch the place."

I rolled my eyes at the ridiculous suggesting coming from people's mouths. Honestly, I don't see what's wrong with using the choir room for a week. I mean, we're never in the auditorium.

"No." Mr Shue said to stop the commotion. "Look, we've all faced adversity before and come out stronger on the other end. I'm gonna check out a few off-site locations for us to use just for the week. I promise I'll find us a new home."

I sighed as the bell rang, I was first out the room. Happy to be making my way to my next class.

"A roller rink? Weren't those outlawed in, like, 1981 for being totally lame?" Santana questioned Mr Shue after he told the glee club that we'd be rehearsing in a roller rink instead of the auditorium for the week.

"Come on, guys." Mr Shue said encouragingly. "Where's your sense of adventure? The space is great and April is giving it to us to practice in for free."

"Mr. Schue? If I may?" Kurt asked while standing up and making his way to the front of the classroom. "The New Directions is clearly a club with a dearth of direction.
Rachel and Jesse refuse to accept that all of us would rather die before we allow them to become the next Beyoncé and Jay-Z and Finn's mother's romance with my father is sending him into a wholly unnecessary tailspin of despair. What we all need right now is to explore the idea of a sense of place and how if we find that place within we will get that happy ending." Kurt directed the last part of his speech to Finn before turning to the band.  "Brad, B-flat."

On cue Kurt gave his rendition of "A House Is Not A Home", it was a very personal to Finn as I watched the boy throughout the performance as he clenched his jaw and seemingly was biting the inside of his cheek. I know, as his friend, I should go ask what Kurt's performance was about but I know it isn't my place after what I said to him the other day. I guess time will tell if we will talk again.

"Wait, Mercedes are you sure this is a good idea? I mean you fainted only a matter of 24 hours ago" I said to the girl as she asked me if we could change the Cheerios' routine for the pep rally to perform a Christina Aguilera song.

"Listen, I know what happened was dumb but I honestly think this could have a massive impact on the whole school" Mercedes said as I closed my locker. "A positive one" she added and I sighed.

"Okay, but you've got to help my round up all the Cheerios and the band. Deal?" I asked.

"Deal"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mercedes and I stood at the side of the gym looking out at the filled bleachers but most importantly Coach Sue with a magazine reporter by her side.
"I don't know if I can do this" Mercedes said as she turned to me.
"Listen, you've got the whole squad backing you in this, the band and the glee club." I said to the girl as I put my hand on one of her shoulders. "All your friends are out there to support you not tear you do. Okay?" I asked her and the girl simply nodded before making her way to the middle of the gymnasium towards the microphone that was planted in the centre of the room. The rest of the Cheerios and I then made our opening positions facing the back of the room as Mercedes spoke out to the crowd.
"Hey, guys." I heard the girl's voice boom throughout the room. "I'm Mercedes Jones. So most of you know Cheerios is about perfection and winning Iooking hot and being popular." I heard her stop and take a deep breath. "Well, I think that it should be about something different. How many of you at this school feel fat? How many of you feel like maybe you're not worth very much? Or you're ugly, or you have too many pimples and not enough friends? Well, I felt all those things about myself at one time or another.
Hell, I felt most of those things about myself today. And that just ain't right. And we've got something to say about it. And if you like what we have to say come down here and sing it with us."
I heard Mercedes give a sigh of relief as the music started to play and she began to sing "Beautiful", at the chorus the girls and I spun round to sing along with her. I saw Quinn stand up and start to make her way towards the Cheerios to join in - the rest of the glee club following in suit. I smiled when I saw Finn walk towards us and then stand next to me.
Yeah, I think we're going to be alright.
I walked into the choir room last as I saw everyone sitting down but April and Mr Shue were standing beside the piano talking well I should say smiling. I guess April told him her good news.
"Did you tell him yet?" I asked April as I made my way to a seat.
"Tell me what?" Mr Shue asked confusingly as he turned to face me and the rest of the glee club.
"That I bought y'all the auditorium." April revealed causing Mr Shue's jaw to drop completely as we all cheered.
What?" Mr Shue asked in disbelief.
"I wrote ol' Figgins a check this morning." April said as she made her way to stand next to Mr Shue. "It's now called the April Rhodes Civic Pavilion."
"I don't know what to say." Mr Shue said.
"We've got that covered." I said before we made our way to the auditorium to back up April singing "Home" from "The Wiz".
