I was currently under watch, standing in the field with Ben and Carlos. Let's just say, I now regret pulling out a sword on Mal but to be honest, after Fairy Godmother's lecture I was feeling bad about pulling out a sword on Mal.
"Okay Carlos, were going to practice on sprinting."
Carlos nodded, kneeling down in the grass. Ben pressed the start button, a dog barking after Carlos while he ran. Carlos started screaming and running past Ben when he stopped the timer but soon Ben had to chase after him. I laughed, pointing at Carlos while I watched Ben chase after him. I soon heard a alligator rumble, I stopped looking behind me to see a alligator. I screamed, running the same direction as Carlos.
I run into Ben and Carlos, seeing Carlos holding a dog for the first time, actually not panicking. I screamed again, climbing up the tree as far as I can.
"Avery? What's wrong with you?"
"How did junior tick tick get here?!" I yell down at Ben. "He's suppose to hate me and suppose to try and eat me!"
Ben laughed, shaking his head. "Your parents tell you lies. Don't they?"
I swallow, holding onto the tree as I stare down at Ben and Carlos. They were talking to themselves, but soon Ben left leaving Carlos and the dog together. Carlos sat down as I stayed in the tree, staring out into the forest.
"Hey, Avery." Carlos said, while I turned my head to look down at him. "Come on down."
I shake my head. "No. Junior Tick Tock is going to try and eat me."
Carlos frowned, looking down at the ground then me. "Please, I won't let him eat you."
I breathed in, staring down at Carlos then the other trees. "Fine."
I slowly climbed down the tree, my feet touching the hard ground. I looked down at Carlos, sitting down on the tree trunk with him. The dog started wagging his tail, licking Carlos's face and mine. I smiled, something coming over me when I laid my head on Carlos's shoulder.
Carlos breathed in, not sure what was going on but once Avery intertwined there hands Carlos calmed down but still not sure.
