Abortion

THis is a very VERY controversial topic.  so, if you comment nasy things, i WILL block you. This is a safe space and hopefully an educational one. Please do not ruin that. 

So, there are many misconceptions about abortion that i will gladly educate my readers on. Some people are stuck in the 'pro-choice' 'pro-life' debate. People think that 'pro-choice'='Pro-Abortion'. This is false. Pro-Choice is the idea that a woman has the right to choose what she does with her own body. (Like she should.) There are laws everywhere that are being put in place to restrict women from making that choice whether it be laws saying that a woman has to wait 24-72 hrs until she can go through with the process or the ones that require a woman to gain 'permission' from the father or another man to go through with it. A woman should not need anyone's permission to do what she wants with her body. Plain and simple. 

There are people who think that women use it as a form of birth control. If more women had access to proper contraceptives there would be a lot less abortions anyways. But abortions are expensive and i can't stress this enough  TAX PAYERS DO NOT PAY FOR THEM.  Insurance companies do not pay for them either unless its a case of rape, incest, or the pregnancy is a great risk to the mother. 

"Abortions are for sluts who can't keep their legs closed" One, don't you DARE judge someone for their choice to have sex. it is NONE of your business and stop slut shaming people.  Two, the majority of women who have abortions are those who are already mothers and cannot afford to have another child ( Or they are very sick because of the pregnancy and will be fatal for the mothers to carry to term). 

"THEY'RE RIPPING BABIES OUT OF VAGINAS!!" Sorry Mr.Trump you are oh so wrong. (NOT a surprise to be honest).  There are laws put in place so that a woman cannot about a fetus when it is viable outside the womb ( This means that it can live outside of the mother). It is illegal to have an abortion after 20 weeks. A fetus does not however feel anything until it is 24 weeks. The only time that these late-term abortions happen is when a woman does in fact know that she is pregnant, definitely wants the baby but unfortunately cannot carry to term because it will be fatal or the fetus will not live outside the womb after birth because of a defect. 

"You can always have it be adopted."  Unless you are offering to take care of an raise that child once it is out, do not use this as a good excuse. There are already too many children already who need homes and adoption is a hard and expensive process, not including the laws in some states that prohibit same-sex couples adopt.  Women who have abortions DO NOT want to be pregnant and DO NOT want to have a baby. Being pregnant is very expensive, hospital bills are expensive and working is hard to do as it is without being pregnant.  So, if we just let the people who actually want to have babies and to be parents intsead of constantly pushing everybody that they NEED to have kids at some point and let people figure out if they want kids themselves then there would be a lot less children in need and the world would be a better place.
