Chapter Four

Alex's P.O.V

When I woke up the next morning, I was cuddled into Veronica. I had my right leg resting on her stomach and I had my head snuggled into her shoulder.

I watched her sleep for a while until she finally woke up.

"Morning sleepy head" I whispered

"It's still night time" She chuckled

I looked out the window and she was right. It is night time. What the fuck? Wait, wait. I got here at 9ish, made pizza, so say add 3hours. Then we went to the shop, I cried, say half an hour. So that's 12:30ish that I fell asleep? What?!

Veronica chuckled besides me and she pulled me on top of her.

"I missed you" She said, gently tucking a piece of hair behind my ear.

"I missed you too"

"I'm sorry for everything at school, I shouldn't have been like that I was just-"

"Shh, It's okay, forgive and forget, right? I don't hold grudges remember?"

"Yeah I know"

I lent down and kissed her softly. She kissed back and flipped us over. As we were kissing I felt something wet hit my cheek. Is she crying? I opened my eyes and she had a few tears rolling down her face.

"Heyy why are you crying? What's up?" I asked her as I brushed away the tears with my thumb.

"What are we going to do for school? No one can find out-"

"Are you trying to fucking hide me now?!"

"No! No, I'm not. I just don't want people finding out, they'll start targeting me now and-"

"Oh, I'm sorry, we wouldn't want miss popular getting called names would we?" I pushed her off of me and put my shoes on, (I'd fallen asleep in my clothes).

I walked out of her room and to the front door. Veronica grabbed my arm and spun me around, pushing me into the wall.

"Ow you idiot that hur-"

She started to kiss me passionately, murmuring words like 'don't go', 'I'm sorry', 'stay' .

I didn't kiss her back like I wanted to. Instead, I pushed her off of me and walked out the door. Outside it was raining and I didn't have a jacket or anything. Shit! Whatever, I don't care. How could she do that after everything? She claims to have not told everyone I'm gay, but here she is saying she doesn't want everyone finding out about us. What a joke. 

I looked up and saw my house. I really hope my mum isn't home, I can't be assed with her shit. I ran up to my room after coming in through the door, and locked my bedroom door. 

After getting changed into some shorts and a t-shirt I layed in bed exhausted even though it was only like, 9pm. 

My phone buzzed and flashed beside me. I looked at the caller ID and it was Veronica. I switched my phone off and put it on charge. I'm just going to sleep, I have school tomorrow, unfortunately. I thought that it might have gotten better now that I had Veronica back, but now she's gone again. Great.
