Chapter 5 - Fight

"I've missed you all so much! Watching all of you float bring me more joy than I can utter. Anyway, enough with the chit Chat-" Lady Wifi swooped in on her fast forward sign. Marinette and Adrien used the distraction to run into the school building, excusing themselves immediately.

"I'm pretty sure that's the wrong way to do it bubble boy." He stared at her in disbelief.

"Who are y-" she pushed him away and stood in his place. Using her phone she broadcasted herself live on every single television set and gadget in Paris.

"Citizens of Paris, bubble boy and I promise not to bother you as long as you give us Ladybug and Chat Noir's miraculouses-" he got up, glaring at her.

"I was here first-"

"And yet here I am, bubble boy." She smirked and turned back to the public.

"Sorry. He's weird."

"I heard that."

"I know."

"Hand them over now or your family members will be frozen in the street-"

"And floating above the city-"

"So if you two are watching it, act fast. Clock's ticking." She switched off her phone and turned to him with a bored expression on her face. "Do you mind? I was kind of making an announcement back there-"

"There is one villain only. One! And it's supposed to be me!"

"Too bad bubble boy. Hawkmoth has spoken." She chewed gum and popped it in his face. "By the way bubble boy, I like your family. Especially your dad. He tastes delicious." The Bubblef blinked. It took him quite a while to understand. Nino swallowed.

"Not quite as much in real life though." Lady Wifi rose an eyebrow.

"What was that?"

"Nothing." Alya frowned.

"Nino, you-" she shook her head vigorously, Lady Wifi once more. The Bubbler did the same.

"What just happened?"

"I don't know but it was seriously weird." Alya and Nino tried to pry themselves out from... wherever they were to no avail. They could see everything that was happening and hear but they couldn't do a thing.

"Two akumatized villains?! Seriously?! What is going on here Chat?"

"I don't know m'lady but it definitely won't last long."

"Wow. No puns?"

"I appurrciate your sudden liking for my puns but this is no time to joke!" She rolled her eyes.

"Same ol' Chat. Thank goodness fur that."

"Did you just..."

"No."

"But you-"

"Let's go Chat." She swung away leaving a starry eyed cat just standing there with his hands clasped together.

"Did she just pun and rhyme?! She..." He sighed dreamily and followed her to where the villains where. They gasped in shock. The two were too busy quarreling to notice.

"I get to fight Ladybug!"

"No I do!"

"I know her more! Her weak points included!"

"Well I've hated her more!"

"And I've hated her less!"

"Seriously?!"

"Same difference!"

"You're cramping my style!"

"Stay out of my way bubble boy!"

"You just wait till I make one for you! Then you'll see!"

"See what?! That you have no brains?! Don't worry, I already know!"

"You take that back!"

"Nothing to be ashamed of!" The cat and the bug just watched them argue in astonishment, their eyes going left and right as the quarrel escalated. Chat broke first.

"Woah woah woah, sorry to burst your bubble and this lovely moment between DJWiFi but what about me?!" They just gave him a 'seriously' look. All three of them. Just raising their eyebrows at him. Like he was a weird little man. Which he was - Ladybug wrapped her yoyo around The Bubbler and threw him to the ground. He groaned.

"You can have her bubble boy." He rolled his eyes which she couldn't see and held up a thumbs up. "I'll handle kitty cat over here.

Ladybug jumped down, landing on her feet. The Bubbler had already gotten up. He blew bubbles at her which exploded. She dodged them all with flips and stuff. He groaned in frustration.

Chat Noir on the other hand was dodging the pause signs she kept throwing at him. "Could you stay still so I can hit you?!"

"Say please first." She stopped mid throw.

"Seriously?"

"I would have said no anyway" he mumbled with a cheeky grin.

"Come on Chat, how about hand to hand combat?" He laughed nervously.

"I'll take a rain check on that." She rolled her eyes.

"What- HEY!!" He ran off using his staff to propel him over a building. He turned to see Ladybug running up to him, Bubbler close behind. She used her Lucky Charm and had an clear string in her hand. She frowned wha- got it. She tied the string around her waist and told Chat what to do. He nodded and hid. The two frustrated villains finally caught sight of Ladybug with grins on their faces.

"Ha! We have you surrounded bug."

"Who cares where the stupid cat is? Hawkmoth will be so proud when he finds out that I got Ladybug's miraculous!" Lady Wifi frowned.

"You? It was me who caught her dude." He rose an eyebrow.

"Actually no. While you were playing with kitty I trapped her here! I got her, me!"

"Oh please, you barely did anything! You call that fighting?!" They fought for a while before they snapped. He blew his bubble while she threw her pause sign at her.

"NOW!" Chat Noir tugged at the string sending Ladybug flying towards him. He caught her and put her down. The bubble and sign flew so fast that before they could realise that they had been tricked they were trapped. The Bubbler was frozen mid gape while Lady Wifi kept stretching the impenetrable bubble trying to get out.

Ladybug walked over to The Bubbler about to take his akuma when Lady Wifi unpaused him. He looked startled for a while before popping his bubble. He hopped on a group of bubbles while she stepped onto her fast forward icon. They zoomed away towards the direction that Hawkmoth was leading them.

Ladybug and Chat Noir tried to follow them but The Bubbler stuck them in a bubble. By the time Chat had got them out with his staff they were gone. They looked up to all the bubbles floating over the city with people in them and the frozen and padlocked people.

They had no idea what to do.

And they didn't like it.
